I heard about Masis Kebob from a friend. So, I went ahead and purchased some plates from them. The fact of the matter is that... this spot shrinks the food to levels that is not acceptable, nor, reasonable. Make sure to check your food, as, it seems like,the cook, intentionally, shrinks the amount as much as possible. This is not acceptable conduct. In fact, it is deceptive. Average tasting food with an expensive prices. Not to mention one has to wait for a long time for the orders to be ready. Had... the trout with rice. It was stated as boneless. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about below, I came here on a Wednesday afternoon and got the grass fed Australian lamb... chops? Let me tell you these were absolutely delicious! Super tender, perfectly cooked lamb chops delicious rice I also got aside of babaghanoush ?EVERYTHING was delicious, fresh and perfectly cooked! For ?mall food? this place is top notch! This place is very pricey for something subpar quality of the foods they serve. The bad experience is that they charge extra for... EVERYTHING! What?s that all about?! Come on, Massis, to the claim to be the ?original best,? but what happened? The chicken,beef, and fish are all dry, to name a few, and the pita is soggy?no hummus nor Mediterranean salad on the side when I orderedthe koubideh. You can charge high but make sure the quality of the food you could serve supports the price. And don't charge forthe condiments! It is part of Mediterranean food. NOT RECOMMENDED! I came to this Massis Kabob at 6000 Sepulveda Blvd #3266 Culver City CA 90230 to eat lunch. I ordered Cornish... Game Hen (barbeque chicken) with rice. The rice smelled bad (sign of not been properly/enough soaked in water norwashed). Research shows that soaking rice overnight reduces arsenic levels in the rice by 80% and reduces the chances of heartdiseases, diabetes and cancer. The amount of salt in the rice was way over normal. There were also many big chunks of rice(sign of fresh rice mixed with old rice). The rice was not fully cooked and was hard. The chickens were overcooked/burnt andwere very dried and did not smell/taste good nor fresh. Be advised that overcooking makes food harder to digest and metabolize.Charred and burnt foods contain carcinogenic substances. Picture No. 15 on the menu (Cornish Game Hen) was totaly differentfrom the reality. The amount of salt in the chicken was also way over normal! Price was expensive and not justified! This food was ok, but I expect more flavor. There was nothing to put on the meat so it made the meal a little dry. Some hummus... would have made this meal better. Do not let the placement of this place throw you off from quality. Set in a mall food court, this place tops Gaby's and other... Mediterranean restaurants near by. You can order a whole grilled mackerel. Their salmon falls apart as you bite into it. Mymouth was in shock as I am used to tough salmon from kebab houses. Got the Greek salad, delicious if you like tang and zest astheir dressing is has a. delightful light balsamic taste with added blended olives. Prepare to wait about 15 minutes for yourfood.
