Very disappointing service. Our drinks were never checked on unless we asked, half of my entree was forgotten about, and lastly,... the patio heaters near us were turned off as soon as we got our bill (edit to add: the restaurant wasn't closing for anotherhour+ so that wasn't the reason)! It was 50 degrees outside so it quickly became unpleasant to stay. I guess that's one way tofree up tables for a quick turn around. Read more

The patio is a must and great heating lamps available if needed. The Italian cuisine is top with great service.

Ugo Italian Restaurant food was tasty. Two of these pizzas will satisfy three people for a light lunch. The customer service was... great. The outdoor seating was relaxing. Perfect location to stop in while walking and shopping in Culver City. Read more

Nice place, great staff. The food was good but portions were a little smaller. The dessert (Trilogy cake) was awesome! They had... good vegetarian options as well! Read more

Update: Happy hour is worth it. Been here several times, the pizza is definitely the best. Gelato is great as well.

We walked in just to grab a dessert. The second we walked in, the staff was pushy and kept trying to seat us when all we wanted... to do was order a Gelato to go from the counter, but we finally caved and sat down. The restaurant was relatively empty. Weordered a "Nutella hazelnut" chocolate cake and gelato. The cake tasted nothing like how it looked or was described, and it hadodd textures that made it seem old and overly crumbly. We took one bite and left it. The Gelato was icy and hard, as if therefrigeration case had the temperature too low, and lacked the flavor you would expect from traditional Italian gelato. Butworse, there was a long hair in the Gelato about three bites in between scoops. We told our server, the same pushy one who keptinsisting we dine in, and rather than be apologetic, she was cold and rude to us. Needless to say, we were over it by thispoint. We put cash on the table and walked away. This place is nothing more than a tourist trap with rude staff. If the dessertsare this bad, I can only imagine how uneventful the savory items are. It is very important for me if an Italian restaurant has wood fired oven or not. They have. It was delicious pizza.

No complaints! Simple food, good food. I ordered an $8 spinach dish and wasn't quite expecting it to be just wilted spinach on a... plate, but it was garlicky and delicious anyway. Very good atmosphere, the waiter was real friendly. Moscow mule was on the lesssweet side, which I really enjoyed. Proper dinner for sure! Read more
