This place is in my opinion the best place to get a meal in Cumberland MD, I tried the crabby pig and this place blew that place... out of the water. Right when you walk in you dont see much glamour or decor, but the staff make up for that with them beingvery nice and when you start to look at the menu you kinda tell your self "This is allot of choices". But again the staff wasable to help me get something exactly what i was looking for. With the feeling of a family cooked meal atmosphere and how rightafter you order they go in the back and start making your delicious food. The first time i went here i wondered if it was goingto be good, but after tasting their amazing food it killed all the doughts i had. So if you travel for work like I do and wantan amazing meal definitely make sure you go here to taste some amazing food. Read more

Wonderful food, great prices, awesome owner!! This place was blessedly open Easter Sunday evening and we had a very nice and... totally unexpected dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious and reasonably priced. The turkey dinner, Mac and cheese withbrisket, and blueberry cobbler were particular standouts. The owner was a real sweetheart and generously gave us an extradessert! To top it all off, the nearby park and picnic benches along the old c&o canal made a wonderful place to hang out. OMG! This place is so good. Just take out, nothing fancy, but the food is fresh made in house and perfectly spiced. We had the... Savory Steak Hoagie and Italian Beef and Sausage Combo. They were both delicious. Collard greens were right, not greasy, justtasty. Love it. Haters gonna hate, but don't let a mask keep you away. That would be your loss. Really is ALL THAT. Read more
I first visited this restaurant on a Friday evening. I got the smothered chicken, dirty rice, and green beans. It was all tasty... but I really enjoyed the beans!! I returned on Sunday and got a large order of red beans and rice. It was excellent! The redbeans were real red beans, not those big kidney beans, and we're well seasoned, just the way they are supposed to be. This is mynew go-to carryout. Read more

Tried the tacos for taco Tuesday and was not disappointed. The chicken, shrimp, and brisket were all great, with my favorite... being the brisket. Shrimp had great flavor but more bang for your buck in the other tacos. Friendly staff and decent prices.Call ahead to save time on your pickup order. Would recommend. Read more
