Nothing to brag about. All the typical Chinese dishes u can find anywhere. Who knows what you're even eating. Drowned in sauce... and sugar and whatever else they fry everything in. As for the sushi...its alright. They never have what's on their menu. Therolls are ok but there's nothing special about them. The place and decor overall just seems dingy. Service is decent but ofcourse tough to communicate. Parking is good but who cares at this point. Bottom line...You're eating nothing great and thekitchen doesn't care and it shows. No reason to go back unless you're a local and if you don't mind eating subpar things. Read more
Went for lunch and was served a horrible meal. I ordered the General Tso's Shrimp and received General Tso's Chicken instead. I... told the waitress and then after just 5 minutes, was served a plate of soggy and warm (not hot) General Tso's Shrimp with verymushy Fried Rice and room temperature chicken fingers. The fried rice was almost like mashed potatoes. The food quality has goneway down!!!! I used to frequent this restaurant and for ?years? when it was known as ?Jackies Galaxy?. Food was so good. The waitress was very nice. I had scorpion as a drink ( which was good) then had some appetizers with main... course. I recommend you to try the coconut shrimp they were delicious!!!Overall the food was very good and the place was niceand clean. I also like that the tables are not too close to each other. Love this sushi place. Not a lot of good sushi options in this area. I always have a hard time ordering from their online menu,... it doesn't provide detail for all the menu items... so this trip I took photos of the entire menu. Hope they help someone else! Read more
My first visit to Azalea Asian restaurant. There was a very nice variety of options both traditional and non-traditional foods.... A very nice mix of both hot and cold appetizers. They also had a nice set of soup options to choose from. I did not end uptrying any this visit. The sushi options listed noted with a little pepper those that are the hottest. I tried the Cumbland Rolland the Godzilla roll. The Godzilla roll included the mashed spicy tuna with a nice eel and light sauce on top. Now theCumberland roll is something I would come back to have again. The shrimp tempura was lightly fried with a firmness. The mangowas soft and slightly sweet. The sauce on top was a Very nice blend. It had the sweet chili blended in to give a bit of heat. Iusually dip my sushi in a mix of soy, ginger, and Wasabi. Today? No need with this roll!! Super Tasty!! The service was quickand the servers courteous and friendly. I also appreciated being able to gaze at the fish tank while I dined solo. Best Asian around for the money. Very happy with the service, drinks, food. Everything. My new go to for basic Chinese or... amazing sushi. Take out or dine in I'm pleased. A place like this WILL KEEP YOU COMING BACK. and I didn't even want to come outtonight. Read more
I have ordered from here a number of times. The food is always delicious, but I was so disappointed tonight, that I wanted to... post about this issue: bad customer service. I ordered the lemongrass chicken dinner with no veggies, but with extra lemongrasssauce. When I called to confirm this, the restaurant manager and chef said that I would have to pay extra for the sauce, andsince I had already paid, they couldn't accommodate me. So, I said, "Well, doesn't it matter that I'm saving you money by nothaving veggies in my dish? Doesn't it balance out that I want a little extra sauce?" The manager was honestly disgruntled aboutthis. I can't believe it. How ridiculous. So, they told me I could have a little extra, but nothing more. How do they notunderstand the rationale? Read more
