I?m rating this five stars because of the building. The reason of this is because this building once housed A&W in the 70s to... early 90s or so. When it was A&W, my sister worked for them in the late 70s. Read more

For a place that?s been around for over one hundred years you?d think they?re doing something right, which they are! These is my... favourite Japanese quick service restaurant, and it always fills you up. The place absolutely offers the best value for yourmoney, more so than any other restaurant. I never leave here still feeling hungry. Their biggest combo is $11 and you are givenplenty of food. I wish they had more locations here in the bay like in the Los Angeles area. This place stays true to itsauthenticity and tastes very similar to the locations in japan. Read more

AVOID. Please don't waste your money here! The first time I ordered from here, it was great, esp the orange chicken. The next 3... times were terrible, I kept giving them a shot but the food was so *consistently* bad that it's not a fluke, it's how thislocation is run. My coworker agrees in the change in qualityX The noodles are mushy and broken into small pieces bc they are soovercooked. The chicken is hard and they barely put any sauce. I'm not sure why this location is so awful, I just want to saveyou from ordering from here. Read more

We ordered 6 items but we did not received the Large Gyudon Bowl. When I called the store they said they will just refund the... money. It is not about refund, it is about the service. You can not even write something on the special instructions. they alsoshould have put the name on each order to avoid confusion during the distribution. I hope this store improves! Read more

I didn't really enjoy the beef bowl and thought that the beef was dry. When you order the bowl it comes with just beef and rice.... I assume it's the same for all other meats. It was nice customer service though. Read more

Love love love this place! Spicy Beef and chicken combo is my favorite! Whenever I'm in town it's a must stop location.

I find the beef to be too sinewy for me. Pull out one piece and a second follows after an inch or two of sinew or some thin... connective tissue. Trimming manually would solve this, or buyimg from a better supplier. Otherwise, tasty. Easy to park, quick. I do wish it was still an A&W though, or had that root beer on tap : ) Read more

Probably one of the best fast food chains out there. Although it's been tough for the chain that expanded so fast in the '90's.... This, I believe is the last Yoshinoya in the Silicon Valley. The Santa Clara, downtown San Jose locations have sinced closed. The only other store that I've seen in California is in Glendale. Today I got the beef and Teriyaki chicken Combo bowel. Forthe price, decent helpings of protein, along with rice and some mixed vegetables. The mixed veg is bland, but you won't find vegservings this big in any American fast food joint. The topping of sesame seeds and green onions is a nice touch. So overall, lots of protein for the price, consistant product, at good value. Ya can't beat that. Read more
