This is the worst restaurant in this town. They burn my steak and the steak was very greasy. Worst steak I have ever seen . They... should not be selling that . The meat smelled rancid. Then they charge me a processing fee for using my credit card. I willcontact the hesth department in Cushing to investigate this awfully smelling restaurant. We ordered club sandwich that was soggy bread, hardly any bacon and chicken fried chicken the breading was also soggy so I only... could imagine if the chicken was done. The mac and cheese was dry craft mac and cheese. The service was non existent. The pricethey are asking for their food is a little high but for the quality of the food it was absurd. Twice in two weeks food was cold and wrong. Twice was given the wrong ticket. First time didn't catch it and was charged $70... + and the return took 2 weeks. I love to eat this place. It has great food, large portions and it is clean. They have been in Cushing forever like over 30 or... 40 years.. I have a delayed gastric emptying disease of the stomach and have to eat lite meals easy to digest when it isflared. "I love the Grilled lemon pepper catfish with mash tators and gravy with a side of fried squash. The grilled chickenis pretty killer too. They have awesome fried chicken and jalapeno chicken but my stomach cant do a lot of that stuff anymoreso most days I get fish. Buffet on Friday and Saturday and the Prime Rib is yummy. Oh yeah I almost forgot they have aawesome chicken fry and it is big. The fried Mushrooms are the best appetizer on the Menu. Hand battered and huge! Went in for lunch. Our server was great. She would make sure we were OK and needed anything as fast as a frog on a fly. My... husband got the grilled jalapeño chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and cottage cheese. I myself got the Southwest grilledchicken, green beans and mashed potatoes. There are onions, bell peppers, cheese, and Pico de galo on it that blends in amazingwith the juicy tender chicken. Read more
I'm from Tennessee and staying in Oklahoma temporarily for my job. I was hungry and decided to stop by and dine in at the Steer... Inn Restaurant in Cushing, Oklahoma. I have to say that the restuarant was very clean and the staff as well as my waitress wasvery friendly, professional, and attentive to any questions that I had about the menu. I ordered the 1lb Jalapeno Fried ChickenDinner with my sides being tater tots and onion rings and when my order came out everything was very fresh and enough for twopeople. I can't believe the amount and size of the onions for one of my sides because normally you only get 3 to four smallonion rings and wondering did I get shorted but not here. I couldn't eat everything that I ordered and had to ask for a to goplate. The food was great and customer service was outstanding. Thank you Steer Inn for a memorable experience at yourrestaurant. We were visiting family in Cushing and they recommended going here. Boy am I glad they did. I love a good Chicken Fried Steak... and this one was the best I've had in a long time. I had Okra and a baked potato as my sides. I like my okra cooked a bitcrispy, almost burnt. It was perfect and the baked potato was done to perfection also. I was going to eat the plate too but mywife took it away from me...lol. It's a 2 hour drive from our house to the Steer Inn and I will gladly drive it again to eathere. Can't wait till we go back.
