Out of all the Diary Queen locations near me, I'd drive extra to get to the one on Portage Trail. It's a new building, fire pit... outside and comfortable inside. We got a Chicken strip basket and an A1 burger, and ate inside. Food came out within 5 minutesand was hot. Chicken was much bigger than the strips at other Dairy Queens and I had more onion rings too. Best part was thebread. I'm use to getting a slice of Texas toast, usually not toasted, not cut, not buttered, just thrown in on top the Chicken.This place, it was grillled...buttered, cut, and tasted so good! It's little things like that, that you notice. Burger was hot,juicy and perfect. Staff was nice, and in general everything was great. We'll definitely drive extra to go to this one! Read more
New facility is great but the speed bumps are so jarring it shakes the contents of my car around. The most aggressive bumps for... a lot that doesn't have a straight shot cut through where people can zip through. Needlessly aggressive. Person over intercomcould have been nicer. A sign for picking up a mobile order to have to come inside before getting to the speaker would be niceconsidering you have to pull back on to portage and loop back in. We had the best service today! We originally purchased a cake for a friend?s anniversary at the Stow location and received a... tragic looking cake and tried to have it fixed there, only to have it given back looking worse. So we called the Portage Traillocation and asked if they could fix it and they told us they had a cake decorator and could do it no problem. When we arrived,they were more than happy to take care of us. They gave us a bigger cake at no charge and beautifully wrote on it!! I am sopleased and will definitely come here for any further cakes. Don?t order blizzards from these folks. 9/10 times the ingredients are on the top 1/4 of the cup. Then you get nothing but the... soft serve ice cream. Very disappointing. You?d be better off ordering a small because you definitely don?t get your moneysworth in a large unless you are more of a soft serve plain ice cream fan. Read more
