Darbys is a very small restaurant so we were pleasantly surprised to get a table so quickly without a reservation on a Friday... night. For my drink I got the Mango martini and it was perfect. We started with the Tempura fried green beans and they lived upto all the hype! These were one of the best appetizers we had ever had - the crunchy tempura, the fresh green beans and thesweet sticky soy sauce... Perfect! The roasted beet salad with goat cheese was a great size and it was very refreshing. We got 3sliders - filet, scallop, and the buffalo chicken. We also added a side of fries which was only an additional $1. The friedbuffalo chicken slider was very flavorful. We were shocked that our bill was only $60 when we had 3 drinks, an app, a salad, 3sliders with fries, and a dessert to go. We cant wait to go back to Darby's this summer and enjoy their patio! We've always had a great experience at Darby's and last week was no exception! We brought some friends in from out of town and... Kurt knocked it out of the park as always! Perfect combination, pulled pork slider and half a cranberry walnut salad. Slider was loaded with tasty pork and melted cheese... and the picture perfect salad was delicious. Others at table equally enjoyed the fish taco and hamburger. One item to note waswe thought a few entrees seemed pricey. Special of day was panko cod with risotto and veggie I believe it was $34. Deeeelicious! I found this place by looking up a restaurant with good scallop dishes for my mom's birthday, and Darby's... definitely did not disappoint! The place was packed, but Kurt did and incredible job keeping the pace! We will be back whenwe're in town again! ?? Read more
Crowded, but the food is really well prepared. We will definitely return. My swordfish special was the best piece of swordfish... I have ever had. The goat cheese risotto was a bit heavy on the acidic side between the goat cheese, lemon juice and capers. Still, all in all, not a lot to complain about. Read more
