First time eating here today. The place doesn't match the food. More of meaning, the food is fantastic, but the place looks like... it needs some work. It's hard to find amazing Alfredo like this, but I was very pleased. The young lady that was the waitresswas so kind and helpful. It was all worth it. The food was worth every single penny. This was my first and last time at this restaurant. Filthy! Food was eh until I spotted hairs in it. Waitress brought me a new... plate of food but I could not bring myself to eat it knowing there might be hair in this food as well. Also found a potato inthe strawberry topping of the waffles. Spoke to waitress again and she said the cook must have used the same spoon for thepotatoes and strawberry topping. Wait! What? GROSS! As we left they asked us how was everything was . Very nice family owned local deli. We stopped in for breakfast and the food good. Had that home cooked taste, so don't go... expecting a fine cooked meal! Service was great and not rushed. We finished off our coffee after the meal and were provided awarm up. Typically once you are done eating... service stops as they want you to leave! If this was a chain restaurant I wouldhave taken a star away as the place could use a little TLC, but as this is a family owned restaurant, I am sure they are doingall they can. Read more
Huge portions of food. We were there about 3:30 pm and they weren't busy. Friendly staff and since they weren't busy we got... our food fast. I had the turkey club and my husband had the south of the border chicken sandwich, both with fries. Read more
I love this local gem, excellent food for really great prices. My favorite thing to order is their breakfast pretzel melt with... egg bacon and cheese. Its massive with loads of crispy bacon and hits the spot every time. My hubs always gets the biscuits withsausage gravy, 2 over easy eggs and home fries. Trust me you won't leave hungry ???? My first time at Eddy?s. It is not fancy but I look for these out of the way local places. Like almost all eating... establishments, their labor was light, but it wasn?t unreasonably long to wait. If you are patient, you will have an enjoyablelunch. I had Matzah Ball Soup and a Tuna Salad on Rye. The soup was delicious with a dense Matzah and deep flavor broth.
