We love Hibachi....like who does not love Hibachi. There are a few things to not that are different and some disappointments to... our visit at Hibachi Japan. First off the salads just had Italian dressing. Any other one had a ginger dressing that we havegone to. That is a disappointment as I could have that at home. Second was you did not have the option to go withnoodles....again not what I expected. Third was service. We came with a full table. We were seated promptly according to ourreservation time which is great. It took a long time for us to order drinks and even longer to get them. The table that wasseated next to us had a chef come out before us, even though we had our orders in first. We even saw another chef point to thatchef and point to us, clearly a mistake on their part. A mistake they did not live up too nor did they acknowledge. Maybe theywere understaffed but if you make a mistake own up to it. If there is a communication error own up to it. The chef was fun andthe food was overall good. When going to Hibachi you want an experience in culinary delight and service. Neither were aboveaverage for above average prices. Read more
Great for entertainment and delicious food. Adult meals were between 25 and 30 dollars. I had plenty of leftovers for another... meal. It was $15 for a child shrimp hibachi meal and again enough leftovers for another meal. Alcoholic drinks were pricedreasonably. Our server was nice and attentive. They asked about food allergies before cooking food together and the cook gavewarning for the fire he was going to make on the grill. Read more
Although the food was fantastic, the experience was not. The floors were extremely slippery from food/grease as we were taken to... our table. The table and chairs were sticky. The chairs so sticky that our shirts stuck to them any time we allowed our backs totouch them. It was almost impossible to hear anyone talk without yelling because the room has no carpet or acoustic panels tocut down on the noise from all the other table. Read more
My family has been coming here for years and this was the worst experience ever. I'm a little baffled how poorly it was tonight.... No interaction with the chef whatsoever. No chopsticks were given. The chef did not even care we were sitting there. He did notdo any shrimp flipping. And my portion on my plate was basically cut in half. I talked to the manager and they said they weighthe food before it comes out. I'm not sure I can believe it--- it looked like a child serving of food on my plate. Verydisappointing Hibachi. Read more
The food was really good and our chef, Jose, was super funny and entertaining. I really enjoyed the dining experience. Our... waitress seemed new, but was friendly and helpful. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because they don't have noodles andwhen we got sushi, they brought sauce cups out but never gave us any sauce to dip in lol and the hot sake was luke warm at best. We went right after they opened and didn?t have to wait too long for a table. Reservations are probably a good idea! The food... was absolutely delicious. I had the shrimp and filet combination meal. They steak literally melted in your mouth! The soup wasflavorful and the ginger salad dressing was great. Our chef was fun too!! That helped make it more of an experience instead ofjust dinner. The pineapple sherbet they serve after dinner was incredible. I said I was full but ate mine and most of myhusbands too. The price wasn?t bad either! We will absolutely be back.
