Food has slipped in quality and the service is unfriendly. Their manager for the evening is overworked. I ordered to go and was... given a buzzer which let's me know when the order is ready. I waited and waited but the buzzer wouldn't vibrate. I finallywent to the counter to ask but saw that my order was sitting there cooling off. When I asked how long it had been sitting, I gotno response. I checked the order and noticed that some items were missing even though they were on the receipt. The blonde younglady got them but didn't even try to apologize, just walked away silently. I got home and the fish tasted fishy. And not likethe previous times when quality was better. The kitchen staff gossips with the ladies behind the counter, usually in Spanish,my native language, to the point that people are ignored. Something needs to be done in order to improve and bring back therestaurant I enjoyed in the past. Read more
Food is 5?, hope they work on the restaurant's cleanliness, I can see food on the floor, tables don't seem very... clean..... However, excellent seafood, lots of choices, shrimp, calamari, different types of fishes; grilled, fried,sandwiches.... Like that they provide variety of sides, corn, fries, sweet potato fries, rice, coleslaw, zucchini.... Highlyrecommend, food is just simply delicious. Read more

I can honestly this California fish and grill has the best seafood in the southern LA area! I love seafood and their salmon is... the absolute juiciest I?ve ever had! The shrimp is extremely good as well, not to mention the root beer they have available,it?s just overall great. You get a lot of food for the price that you pay. I like to go for fish to this place, staff that works there is always friendly, seafood is always fresh and tastes good.... Restaiurant is clean as well ss the restrooms. I like the cilantro lime salmon bowl, it just has a great heat with the chilesthat comes with. The chowder soup is very good as well. There are multiple combinations that you can ask for and all of themwill taste just good. Read more
California Fish Grill is one of our favorite ?go to? places for healthier options, although today I ordered fries but oh well. I... typically order the scallops with Cajun seasoning but I tried something new today. My choice was the shrimp skewers with Cajun,sides were fries and zucchini. My son had seared ahi and it was enormous! Side options are rice, pinto beans, kale slaw, friesand zucchini. You get to pick 2 and it comes with bread. Upgraded sides include Brussels sprouts, dynamite fries and streetcorn. Those are all fabulous For drink options they have wine, awesome Stubborn brand sodas (try the pineapple cream soda) andice tea. Small inside dining area and outside patio. This place gets busy for lunch & dinner so plan accordingly. You can orderahead for pick up and you can now get delivery when you order online. Enjoy! Read more
Ordered fish n chips. What a disappointment, luke warm fries and fish is more like deep fried mush. After all the great comments... I was left wondering. So is it bad food or people who don?t know what good food is? I?m on my way over to Carl?s Jr. at leastwe know what to expect. P. S. The wife?s fish was over cooked.
