So I love Chicken Express restaurants. I thought wow it will be nice to have one near home. But I have been so disappointed... with our fry/529 location. The owner is great! But the quality of food sucks when he?s not around. Cold food and been under thelight for hours. If you want fresh food don?t go after lunch time. The afternoon staff sucks! Always playing around. If theowner don?t watch out this restaurant will fail like others in the area. Gave them multiple chances before posting and taking mybusiness elsewhere. Read more
Came here cause I smelled Fried chicken close by. It was 9:20 pm Oct 1st on Saturday. Very pleased. I asked for #1... tenders,side,roll, gravy and a drink, plus fried okra, fried pickles and corn nuggets. Very impressed they made that this late.Will definitely be coming with family and friends. We FINALLY tried a Chicken Express ???? We sat in the dining room. The owner greeted us and several other guests who were dining... in. The food was fresh and delivered to our table promptly. Staff was friendly. My daughter (10 yrs old) said she\'s found herfavorite Chicken. We\'ll be back! So many other options on the menu that I can\'t wait to try!! Read more
I was more impressed than I expected I would be. The chicken was very fresh and tasty. We arrived 15 minutes after they opened,... so I am sure that helped.\nThe service was fast and accurate as far as our actual food order, BUT they charged me the car orderbehind us (the slip attached to my food bag showed my car type and color; the other receipt handed to me showed a completelydifferent type and color). I didn\'t catch it until I had already pulled away from the drive thru.\nI called the store and I wastold I would need to come back in to fix the issue. I decided to deal with it later. I wanted to eat my food while it was stillhot.\nThe chicken was nicely battered, very fresh and the perfect temperature. The fries were also very good. I like the gravyoption with chicken tenders - tastes like a country lunch. Yum! The coleslaw was nice with a wonderful crunch. The roll - oh mygoodness were they delicious! You have a choice of a biscuit or roll, but I prefer rolls. The sweet tea with the \"Sonic\" icewas also great! Their menu is pretty extensive for fast food. Not many places have okra and green beans for a side. I stayedwith the safe option of fries, just in case, but next time, I will try other items.\nI ended up going back to rectify thesituation of being overcharged. The manager was very nice and willing to help. I had to explain it to 4 people first, then waitfor a good 20 minutes (I shouldn\'t have gone during their dinner rush), but it was cleared up and I appreciated the assistance. Read more
This place is immaculate, starting with the kitchen, dinner area and restrooms. Really good food, hot and fresh got the 12 piece family meal with mac & cheese and green beans and a 4 piece tender combo half... spicy half regular with fries and me and my family really enjoyed it and will be back plus they?re quick by the time I wasfinished getting my drink I had my whole order and everybody seems to be really nice and personable which is always a plus thatcustomer service was on point. The only photo I have left is an empty plate! My boyfriend drags me a hour away to eat here. The service is always good and the... owner heart is big.
