I go all the time. I get the fish and shrimp. Don?t care for their chicken though. I?m picky. I like flavor all the way down,... not just good flavored batter! For me, Church?s I?d king around here. As cheap as it is, it?s my fav. I go to Frenchy?s fortheir BOMB French fries and fish or shrimp (which are overpriced). Note: I do not like any of their sides or desserts. Read more
First timer, wanted to try the chicken but saw the three-piece fish dinner and tried that with a side of red beans, instead,... which came with a roll and tartar sauce. Not bad at all! I forgot to ask what kind of fish it was but they're large so I guessit's catfish. I also ordered three boudin balls. The red beans and the tartar sauce were pretty plain however the fish and theboudin balls were fried perfectly in cornmeal-breaded goodness so now I have to come back and try the chicken even though itappears to have a thin coating of breading on it instead of a thick crunchy braiding like other places. The food quality is good, but the kid who took our order didn't include any sauces though we asked specifically for them. We... asked for mixed dark/white meat, they gave us 2 wings and 2 thighs for the 4pc meals, and only 2 wings only for the 2pc meal, ifit wasn't for the good quality chicken I'd give it 1 star. Went and got take out for the family from here last night. Food was excellent! The taste of the chicken was just like the... original Frenchy?s taste, it was delicious! I only wished the staff had their noses covered with their face masks. Everyperson working had only their mouths covered; while serving food. Yikes! ?????? Please have staff cover their mouth AND theirnose at all times. Read more
I had my hopes up but the service was super slow and the food was mediocre. The fish was like a kitchen sponge soaked in 10W-30.... And, for some reason it took 25 minutes to cook it. I gave them two stars because the collard greens were pretty good. Read more
