Today, I thought I would treat myself to lunch at Imperial City Cypress. Ordered the Pork Fried Rice and two egg rolls. The... hostess assured me that the pork fried rice would be freshly cooked. When I arrived home, I discovered that the pork friedrice was absolutely terrible. It looked as though it had been in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. This is my absolute favorite Chinese place all of Cypress! The food is absolutely amazing and the proportions are always... extremely generous! I highly recommend eating here if you are or interested in ordering take out or looking for a great dinespot for Chinese food. Personally, my favorite things to order on the menu are the >One of the followingappetizers: Eggrolls/Spring Rolls Fried Biscuits Fried Dumplings >One of the following entrees: Sesame Chicken MongolianBeef A dinner size portion of Chicken Fried Rice Whenever Im on my own for dinner and I?m working at home on a studio project,i love just calling in an order of Chicken Fried Rice with some egg rolls and a drink. It fills me up and lets me get back toworking pretty quickly and with the large proportion there?s almost always enough to stick in the fridge and enjoy as left overseither for lunch the next day or the day after which ends up saving me money that would?ve otherwise been spent on fast food orsomething. My other favorite thing to order is the sesame chicken, the sauce has a sweet & savory flavor that?s fantastic! It?sa great option for anyone who might have a kid who?s a picky eater since it?s chicken with mildly sweet sauce that isn?tspicy. The staff is always super nice too! Amazing food, amazing service, portions are great, prices are good, and they deliver quickly. They even made us something we... requested that?s not on the menu. This place was literally horrible. Came here hungry asl after a wax appointment and was extremely disappointed. The food was not... seasoned AT ALL. The fried rice had no egg nothing just brown rice. Chicken was unseasoned. Read more
