Fish was mixed with old dried out fish. You'd think as much as it costs to eat our you'd actually get something fresh. Too many... restaurants don't have employees that care about the quality of food they serve people. I really like this place since there isn?t that many anymore. So me and my family drove like 45 minutes to get here. This place... is very nostalgic to me so obviously I loved the food. There was a lot of confusion with the hushpuppy counts and getting extraand what not the lady at the drive-through speaker was a little rude but honestly I don?t blame anyone staying at Long JohnSilver?s with a team of three at 8 o?clock, so I am completely fine with that. We all had a laugh in the confusion even theworker because you know they?re all human too. They made our food pretty fresh from scratch (or as close as you can get tofresh at a fast food place) which I loved and it only took like 15 minutes. And due to their only being three people, the diningroom is closed. However, they gave us plates so we could eat out nearby since we didn?t wanna drive 45 minutes back home andhave our food get cold. Fish and chicken are reaaaaally greasy so beware if you don?t like greasy foods. The hush puppies andcoleslaw were immaculate and by far my favorite. The fries were OK a little soggy, and under salted and they give you tartar andketchup with your food. also, a heads up the family platter does not come with a drink so either order that separately or get itfrom somewhere else like we did. Overall if you like seafood fast food and know what you?re gonna get just be patient with theworkers and you?ll get your food. I would definitely come back here if it wasn?t so far away. Food here is great.... if you get what you've ordered. I have waited patiently in the drive thru for longer than it should... take, only to pull off and notice things were missing and/or wrong. Then have to wait an extended time again to have itcorrected. Check your order before leaving the window. Read more
I?m here before 9pm at the long John silver been in the line over 15 minutes. The the manager sends the employee out to tell me... there close . I said then he should have shut the line down earlier . The employee said I?ll go get the manger . I saw himtelling the manager something, however the manager never came out . At this point I?m assuming there going to take my order. Iasked about the car in front of me whom wasn?t at the ordering window either. He said I don?t know . My first thought is why heonly telling me. When I?m here before 9 and you saying you not going to take my order. The wait time is absolutely Ridiculous .I decided to wait anyway just to see what happens next. I got to the window . Nothing was said so I asked if they?ll take myorder . I told them I?m the last car. I Order two fish , the cashier was surprised that?s all I wanted. Me too what was theproblem from the beginning. I?m a frequent customer, but today Im having some hesitation . It?s now 30 minutes later and onlytwo cars was served out of 6 was 7 but one left. Are they short help???? Read more
My first time at long John silver's. Restaurant, restroom, were very clean. Fish was very crispy and tasty, nice coleslaw. Crab... cakes are useless but other stuff and customer service were great. Read more
Too salty! The batter was borderline inedible. The hush puppies and fries were fine but the fish, chicken and shrimp were... awful. I couldn't eat the green beans at all. Management assured me the recipe was right. Ended up throwing all the food out.Something was definitely wrong. Reports of the floor being greasy are confirmed. You could write your name in it. The food was made correctly and to standard. My issue is the amount of grease and flour used. I'm not a health nut, matter of... fact I crave unhealthy food, but this was just too much. You're better off going to a mom and pop fish place if you're lookingfor half way quality fish. The hush puppies was the best thing in the platter. This is a rare rating for me. Read more
Couldn?t hardly hear the drive thru person on the mic. She sounded like she was on drugs and whispering. Ordered my food, and... sat at the window for 5 minutes with employees walking by looking at me, not doing anything. I was the only person there. It?sfast food, it?s not that hard to be competent.
