We love waffle house, as a rule, not so much this location, on this day. The staff was outside when we arrived. (smoke break?) ... They went right in....so far,so good ...but the place was a disaster....every waffle maker was covered in large amounts ofbatter...not just some.....tons.and there were other areas that needed attention....maybe a little clean up before a break?Staff was friendly enough and food was ok....but I thought we were taking our life into our own hands eatting there.... The morning crew is amazing! They know exactly what they're doing and Brandon, one of the cooks never makes our food bad. The... night crew is alright, but I feel like the food never tastes the same or is cold or something along those lines. But this placeis always open and I highly recommend the breakfast bowls. The food was ok. A little below your standard waffle house quality and experience. The staff was rude, our waitress extremely... inattentive and kept forgetting that we were even there while telling the manager she needed a break over and over. The managerdidn't seem to care what was going on either. The whole experience was well below what I've come to love and respect aboutwaffle house.
