A single member of waitstaff for the entire restaurant seems like poor planning, especially when that member of the waitstaff... isn't very friendly or attentive (they weren't real busy). Never once offered a refill on my drink either. The food was a bit ofa letdown too. Not only in how long it took to get to the table but it tasted like it had sat under a lamp, or maybe beendouble dipped. Certainly not the worst I've had, but really far from the best as well. Needless to say, we won't be returningagain. Read more

Went out for a family dinner (Party of 6). Was seated with menus and then never contacted again. All the servers made eye... contact but nobody would come take our order or even get us drinks. After 25 minutes we decided to just get up and leave. Not afamily friendly place. Read more

Over the last 4 months, we?ve visited here 8-10 times, for lunch/dinner. Every time we were disgusted with the food. We like the... atmosphere, so kept trying different items to find something on the menu we?d love. We wanted so much to like it here because weneed a good place to eat in Dallas. This is NOT it. By dish: *The Bourbon chicken is not what most people know as bourbonchicken. This is more like Marsala chicken, but served over mashed potatoes and tastes over-microwaved. Dry and tough, verylittle sauce. Horrible! *The sandwiches are all served on airy-soft sandwich rolls that fall apart, terrible for French dip andgrilled sandwiches. The meat tastes more like sliced deli meat heated up. Not fresh roasted. *The clam strips were so tough wecouldn?t chew them. Horrible. *Salads, just ok, packaged I think. *the steaks were dry and flavorless. Overcooked. *the burgersare about the only thing on the menu that was ok, but not great. *the onion rings were good- beer batter style rather thanbreaded. SUMMARY: We want to go here for a drink and maybe play keno occasionally and visit with friends, but the food is justawful, such a shame. The owner is kind and works hard, but the menu needs to be completely overhauled. Read more

Good food, good service. Sirloin and New York Strip were both good. Excellent loaded baked potato.

The corned beef hash was delicious. I took home left overs and they were great the next day. I felt bad our waitress seemed to... be working by herself that morning and it was quite busy but she did an awesome job. Read more

Pleasant place for dinner. We sat outside so I can't say anything about the indoor seating. Prices are comparable to other... restaurants serving similar fare. It's not really a place for quick and cheap food, but we knew that beforehand. I ordered theblackened salmon while my wife had the prime rib. The children went with the lemon herb salmon and the risotto. I can reallyonly speak for my salmon, but the food was good overall. The salmon was not over cooked, as is unfortunately common, and wasrather moist. The vegetables and rice pilaf were quite good. I was able to have a taste of the other salmon and found theblackened to be my preference. Had a taste of the risotto and have to say that it would not be my choice, but there was nothingwrong with it. Read more
