One of the worst experiences ever at a restaurant. After checking Google and the restaurants own website, both stated that the... Overbrook was open until 11pm. Base on this critical information we traveled an hour to for dinner and libations. Upon arrivalwhich was approximately 9pm there were a couple cars parked outside and maybe 3 or 4 tables occupied. We proceeded inside bararea and kinda stood around for a bit and were not greeted by anyone. Finally, a girl sitting at a high table motioned with hereyes to a lady behind the bar to at least acknowledge our existence. Well this older lady behind bar rudely told us that kitchencloses at 8 30pm. And they could not accommodate us.. Like we are supposed to know this. After complaining that nowhere oninternet is this noted. If it were why would we chance going there when there are plenty if other restaurants that operate likea restaurant. She also gave us the Covid 19 pandemic excuse. Restaurants that are listed as a Pub and only want to be open from4 to 8pm should just close until "Pandemic" is over. Im also not sure how you can advertise as being open til 11pm servingdrinks and not serve food under governors restrictions is beyond me and needs to be reported. Im sure this restaurant will beapplying for relief from taxpayers under some Pandemic program handing out money due to loss of revenue. This is not some finedining experience restaurant but another poorly managed Bar with deep fried menu and rude employees. Good luck with thisattitude because this type of service will be detrimental. Everything was great but the crab cakes were way too salty. Not sure if there was a salty chef but I never had them this salty.
Love the portions and the fast service. Clean and great atmosphere to relax and eat/drink!
Crab dip was fantastic! Highly recommend it if you're visiting. Real crab meat with onions and peppers that filled it out... nicely. I had the red snapper entree special (picture attached) which had a delicious red pepper puree on top. Mashed potatoeswere so flavorful and had great texture. Husband had the stuffed flounder and liked it, but lacked a little seasoning. Largeportion sizes, I came home with leftovers. Overall, really enjoyed our night here, full of delicious food and excellent service. Read more
Good food for good prices. Nice atmosphere, nice service. Try the chicken bruschetta cheesesteak, and upgrade those fries to the... overbrook fries(cheese, bacon, ranch). Read more
Never had a bad meal....Gwen is a great bartender, Courtney and Christy are awesome. Only complaint is it's always packed... because it's delicious (1st world problem forgive me) Read more
