We had mixed reviews on the place. I enjoyed my breakfast tacos. They were the biggest tacos I've ever had from a restaurant! My... lady said her shrimp and grits were ok (they looked great! Lol). Her sister had the chicken and waffles and her niece had thefrench toast (neither are pictured and both looked good), they weren't impressed. I wanted to like this place. We dined in on a Saturday and they were not busy. We sat inside on the main floor. I can see the... potential of this being “the spot” from previous reviews, but not this day. There was an odor in the building that smelt ofold wash cloth. The food also was not the best. The mimosa flight was okay.. but just seemed like everything was throwntogether. I would not recommend this place unfortunately, but I know others have had a better experience. Read more

The place is a little bit pricey $$. With that out of the way. If you are in the market for a cozy little bar and good music... kind of vibe this is the place to go! And by all means... Order the steak... for the love of all things holy... you ORDER THE STEAK. My wife had the 3 course meal that consisted of a generous portioned but not too much Caesar Salad, a 12 Oz. N.Y. Stripsteak with potatoes in a nice glaze sauce, finished up with the Chocolate Torte. FABULOUS ???? ???? ????????. I ordered the 12Oz. Ribye with potatoes. We also sampled their spirits while my wife opted for a drink titled The First Lady which was a peachpuree with premium vodka, peach schnapps, and Grand Marmiere w/ pineapple garnish. I had a great experience here, I came with the DFW Urban League Young Professional group, and it was perfect. We sat at the bar... and received exceptional service; the Dj was on point! He had a good mix of the old school, early 2000’s and recent hip hop. Ididn’t try the drinks, but the group seemed to like them. I enjoyed the salmon omelette, and the biscuit was so soft and good!And the plate was only $15!! A super deal too. Also, S/O to Adara she was simply amazing!! Great experience today. Sat at the bar on a Sunday and Alex was a wonderful bartender. He was eager to try new drink... recommendations that were off menu and served up some of his favorites off the menu. Despite some issues with the temperature ofthe steak I’m still giving 5-stars because Alex’s hospitality made me want to come back again. If you’re looking for aplace to have a good cocktail and enjoy some lively music check this place out. Also if you get Alex as a bartender trust him tomake you a wicked good craft cocktail.
