The food is fine. They don’t know how to follow instructions. If there attention to detail is so limited that they package 4... sets of plastic ware and 4 sets of chopsticks and a dozen soy sauce packets when you ask for no utensils and no soy sauce,they’ll probably have no problem screwing up your food order too. Loved this for a great sushi spot in Dallas. Food was great, server went above and beyond, and good prices.
The sushi here were amazing. I really enjoyed the experience at this restaurant. I came almost 30’ before they closed. I was... unsure if I’d be successful on submitting my order. However for my surprise the service was quick and the server was VERYnice. I could even eat there with not rush because they brought the order right away. The rolls were delicious. I got the sexyroll, the crunchy roll and fried rice. I recommend it! Read more
We’ve been to this place several times. We had Volcano Roll, Panic Roll, Crunch Roll, Catepillar Roll, Ai Special Roll, Ahi... Tuna Tower and Spicy Edamame. All the dishes were great. The Valcano roll is excellent. The service was kind of slow but thequality of the food made up for that. Read more
Very fun sushi rolls! We also did the edamame, and the mackerel and eel nigiri; eel was great but the mackerel was meh and the... edamame needed a bit more salt. Other than that the rolls were awesome. We did the daisy roll, the wow roll, and the crunchroll. The crunch roll had a bit too much of the tempura crunch but other than that the rolls were delicious. This place is my go to when it comes to sushi. The business is clean and the wait staff is very friendly and prompt. The sushi... chefs are very talented and can make the best Nigiri and Rolls that I have had in the area. The mackerel is very good, fresh andmarinated in vinegar and salt to bring out the best flavors. The Tuna and salmon is always fresh here. They import scallops fromJapan and the Nigiri scallop here is seared and tastes perfect. They get fresh sushi from California (farmed) or even Japan hereso you know it is gonna taste great. Even the ginger they serve is better than most, it is not the general (pink) and overlysaturated to be flavorless, Ai sushi has fresh and very good ginger. Overall I love this place everytime I have come, try itout! You wont be disappointed. Read more
This is our second experience at Ai Sushi and it has become our go to place when visiting from Austin. The sushi is fresh and... delicious. The wait staff is very friendly and we always enjoy our conversations with them. The shrimp tempura roll and the kingcrab roll are especially good. It is convenient since they stay open late and have limited free parking which we have been luckyenough to get both times. We will definitely stop by again the next time we are in Dallas. Read more
Ordered delivery. It was fine. Not great but not terrible. I don’t think I’ll try it again but I assume the items I picked... just weren’t the best. I did like the miso soup. Pretty straight forward. Shrimp tempura tasted off. Not sure why. TheGeisha roll was ok. Read more
