This place is SO good! I got the crab crusted sea bass which was the best sea bass I have ever had. So fresh and perfectly... cooked! My mom got the seafood ravioli which was amazing as well. The mussels appetizer is phenomenal, and their garden saladwas tasty as well with balsamic vinegar. I got their “chef’s choice” special dessert which was Italian Cream Cake tonight.Perfection! The wait staff (CJ) and manager were so friendly and kept in contact with us throughout the dinner - everything wasperfect! The vibe in here is awesome and the decorations are lovely. My only wish is if they had a real mock-tail menu. Read more

Went here with a couple of friends for a girls night out and everything was amazing. For those worried about parking (I always... am when on this side of Dallas!), the restaurant offers free valet parking. The restaurant itself is small and quaint, definitely good for a romantic night out with the mood lighting and the live music (the music isn't too distracting eitherbecause it's all acoustic). Because the tables are close though, you will have to talk above the noise so keep that in mind. Wehad a few cocktails at the bar before being sat at our table and they were really good - shout out to our bartender Emma whogave such amazing recommendations on the menu and really broke down everything for us! When we sat down at the table we thenstarted with the Avanti Garlic Loaf, Calamari Fritti, and a Greek Salad to share. The drinks and the apps tasted great, theCalamari was perfectly cooked and not too chewy, the bread had a lot of flavor, and the Greek Salad was really good. For mainswe had the Chicken Limone, the Fettuccine Avanti, and the Carbonara. All of the dishes were really good but my Carbonara was thestar for everyone. I had subbed the Farfalle for Angel Hair pasta and had some extra carbonara sauce to add to the dish and itwas so delicious ???? The medallions that came with the Fettuccini Avanti were also well cooked and very tender. The Chicken wasreally good as well, not too over done but juicy with flavor. For dessert we had the Creme Brûlée and the Peanut ButterChocolate Pie. The Creme Brûlée was amazing, just the right rich consistency. The Pie was good as well but it was very thickand rich - you definitely have to share that because it's hard to finish on your own. The Pie wasn't really my favorite butthat's only because I'm not much of a chocolate person - but everyone else liked it but again, it was just very rich. I've hadthis restaurant saved for some time now as a really good Italian restaurant to try in the metroplex and I was not disappo Read more

Incredible food and amazing service! The live music was wonderful, being loud enough to enjoy but quiet enough to still have... easy conversations with my party. The special was surf and turf. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The menu isn'thuge, but has great options for everyone. Read more

We celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary here. We were happy to finally get a vegetarian options. My wife ordered spinach... ravioli. Good ambience, service live music. Free street parking was not an issue, probably because it was late evening. Weordered 3 items and total came out to be around $53 + tip. Read more

Avanti was one of my favorite experiences at an Italian restaurant. Everything was pretty much perfect. The staff was friendly... helpful and very attentive. The food was beautifully presented and as fresh as you can get. The pasta was delicious. The beefwas so tender you can cut it with a butter knife. Overall it was a perfect first dining experience in Dallas. 6/5 stars if itwas possible. Read more
