An amazing experience!!! I?ve been wanting to check this place out for a while. I took my Day One with me..LOL we didn?t plan on... it but Yellow was the color of the day I guess. We we?re out here looking like sunshine on y?all?s cloudy days. They did ask ifwe had a reservation and yikes I didn?t event think about it since I figured Saturday afternoon..we should begood.??????????????? We had an delightful server that explained the menu and concept for my Mom. She never had tapas before. Wewere provided a board of hot crusty toasty bread with a creamy honey soaked sheep cheese. So amazing! The bread that just comesto the table with olive oil?.Man, listen..it was hot, fresh and a meal all by itself. My Mom is a wine drinker and you haveoptions of 3,6 or 12 oz pours. I ordered they?re version of an Old Fashioned. Boozy and Good. Then for our additional courses weordered Olives, Prawns, Lemon couscous with asparagus. We were nice and full so we threw in the towel and got a small take outbox. I will love to go back to I can continue down the menu. Read more
Me and our group are definitely happy that we came back to give Barcelona Wine and Bar a second chance. The staff, the food, and... the drinks were all amazing!! They made it up after screwing up our first visit. After making us wait outside in the cold for1+ hours and not able to seat our group with reservation of 13 people on a Saturday night, the regional director reached out andinvited us to give them a second chance. Our second visit was great!! We were greeted and seated by the host, the ambience waswarm and cozy. Cocktail: I had Barcelona classic gin and tonic. I was only planning to have one drink (as it was a Mondayevening) but it was so good I had to order another. Food: All the dishes we had there were amazing. Few that stood out were thepork belly, shrimp, prawn, mussels, hanger steak, empanadas, and their paella was one of the best that I ever had. Went for Valentines day - Phenomenal restaurant and customer service. The vibe was awesome and the variety of tapas were... incredible. We tried 4-5 items and all were very solid portions and tasted amazing. Will definitely be back. Read more
Would not come back. One of my close friends chose this bar to celebrate her birthday. Something I did enjoy from the start is... that they offer valet parking. The inside of this place is absolutely gorgeous. The hostesses in the front of the restaurantwere very nice, however, not organized. My friend had made a reservation for ten people at 9:00PM. When I arrived, I said I washere for my friend's party. The hosted pointed out that they were already seated, just to be roaming around the restaurant andthe party was not even there. That was strike one for me. So, my friends arrive shortly after and turns out that despite havinga reservation, the table was not ready. The tables are incredibly small and we were just crammed inside this small space. Thatwas strike two. I feel a bit disappointed in writing this review, because I do have a lot of nice things to share, however, Ifelt like I was treated disrespectfully by my server. I was taking a look at the wine selection book that was sitting at thetable and the server made a rude comment about it. He said something to the effect of "You know, we do not offer glasses forthose wine bottles, we sell the entire bottle" which I responded was fine. He then proceeded to assume that I was going to orderan entire bottle for myself and made a comment to the effect of "oh, people don't usually order an entire bottle forthemselves." I was considering purchasing a bottle for my Bo and I. After he proceeded to make a comment about me looking attheir wine menu, he tried to backpaddle and say "oh, sorry, that sounds judgmental" or something to that degree. That was strikethree. I decided to not purchase the bottle since he just made me uncomfortable. I ended up ordering a Sangria and had the porkbelly. The portions are very small, so just be aware. My food club decided to try this place and I?m so glad we did! Everyone loved it! Some of my favorite tapas were the Mushrooms a... La Planta, Chorizo w/ Sweet & Sour figs, and the Albondigas. We tried every dessert and I was SO impressed with the Olive OilCake. It was AMAZING! The Chocolate Cake was the runner up, and the Basque Burnt Cheesecake and Crepas with Seasonal fruit wasnext. I love the ambiance here and the service was top notch. 10/10 would recommend! Read more
What an awesome spot! This place was lit! The vibe was so great. Waitstaff was impeccable, food was incredible, and even the... chef came out to talk to us and he was great. I loved experiencing all of these different flavors, a lot of what I eat thatnight was brand new to me. I would go back in a heartbeat. Read more
WOW is this place good!! Not only is the food delicious and the aesthetic was outstanding, but THE SERVICE!!! The staff truly... made our Barcelona Wine Bar experience unlike any other dining experience. General manager, Alyssa P., really went above andbeyond. Our waiter, Igor, was fantastic. I?m glad I discovered this amazing place brought me back to the country of Barcelona , Spain again . Came here on a Saturday and... it?s pretty packed with beautiful people waiting to be seated . We met up with some friends sitting at bar so no wait. The tapaswas delicious and a good selection of wines here. Everything we ordered was well marinated with great flavors. Cool vibe andlively atmosphere here . Valet parking only. Would absolutely come back again on the weekend. Read more
