Service was great and place is clean and had all the football gamea...only issue is the wings weren't great. Tasted like they... had been sitting for a while and then added sauce or rub when I ordered them. This is the back to back time I've had thisexperience in last 2 months. I usually go to BWW Carrollton but it was closed for renovations so we ended up coming here. There is always a wait and the... service is slow. We were given raw chicken wings (can be seen in the picture, one on the right is still pink). Horrible serviceby our host Melvin, he had a bad attitude. When we told him that the wings are raw, all he said was ?Okay?. Waited 15 minutesto speak with the manager but they never came. No one addressed the fact that some of our wings were raw. Read more
This was my first visit, and I went inside for a take out order. I noticed the restaurant was very clean and lively despite... coming in the early afternoon. The staff was attentive and friendly! I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich which camewith fries. I'm striving to determine what the best chicken sandwich is in my local area and this was an obvious choice to try.My expectations were high, as the restaurant looked very nice! However I can honestly say that I was disappointed in both thesandwich and the fries. The chicken sandwich was pricier than several of the competitors, costing me just over $11. Despite theprice, the size and generosity of the seasoning was not there. Also there was this strange Brown plastic piece in my sandwich-included in one of my pictures. The fries also were nothing to brag about. The fries were very stringy, greasy, and severelylacked seasoning - especially considering the cost. As odd as it sounds, you could place these fries next to McDonald's frenchfries, and you really wouldn't know the difference. My food came out hot but I waited about 25 minutes which seemed long for theorder, and that there was only 2 other tables besides me. Ultimately, I'd have to give the Nashville hot chicken sandwich a 6out of 10 - and this is excluding the piece of plastic I found in my sandwich. I usually always order for pick up but I ordered delivery this time and it took an hour only to have four wings on both 6 piece... combos. And apparently no one can come to the phone. I never leave reviews but this was a disappointment also never had issueswhen I pick up. I don?t know if it?s because it was a doordash order but either way it should be treated as a pick up too. Usually they have fat wings but what is this? Some tiny small wings that's for sure. Server and bartender were yelling at each... other across the bar room floor talking about "it wasn't me! Etc". Class is def not here on a Sunday night. EDIT!: Came backon a Friday night after church and the staff was professional, attentive, caring of our needs and the wings were not teeny tiny!They definitely "fixed the problem" for us and made it right so I changed the review to 4 stars, only because I've seen biggerwings at this location before. But if I could give it 4.5 stars I would! Thank you owner for making it right! Also theimmature server wasn't here only the bartender was so I'm sure they had a talk w their employees to be professional, which isreally something we appreciate. Professionalism goes a long way! I went on a Saturday night. It was four of us. Place was not busy yet we were told 20 min wait. It was definitely longer than... that. Once seated, no one approached us to get our drinks/food ordered until my partner got up and asked. Waitress apologizedclaiming she thought someone else was taking care of us. Food took long to be served too. We were not approached and asked howwe were doing. For example, we ordered fries and ketchup was not brought out. I wanted another drink but due to slow service Irefrained. My partner asked for another drink and it was brought out too late. By then, we were ready to leave. I left a goodtip even though I was inclined not too. The only reason I don't consider my night bad is because I was in good company. Read more
