Such a delightful experience. Sushi was delicious, came out in a cute boat with all items we ordered from the Happy Hour menu.... We had the Japanese old fashioned, lychee martini and sake tini. The drinks were so well made, and wasn’t too sugary. The bestpart of our experience was our server Raven. She was so friendly, attentive, and made sure our dinner experience was great. Delicious sushi. I had the incredible roll plate and I love it. The spring rolls are good. And I had a Japanese beer, Sapporo.... After I order I found the have some Sushi Tower plates, maybe I’ll order for a next visit. All the staff that work at therestaurant is so nice. A friend recommended me this place and was so right. One of the best sushi places I have been to. I loved the atmosphere and the food! Their menu is much more creative than I am... used to and I actually branched out from my norm. They also have great drink options. Definitely recommend! Read more
I visited this restaurant on Friday night for date night. This place has a very calm vibe to it, which is definitely my... preference. The staff greeted us and sat us down within the first two minutes of arriving. Our waitress was quick and providedus with top tier service! I was impressed, given it was Friday night at around 8:00PM. My highlight of this place is that theyhave THE BEST sushi I have tried in Dallas. I had the Miso soup, and the cherry blossom roll. I rate that sushi roll 20/10! TheCherry Blossom (priced at $16.00) has Shrimp tempura, fresh salmon, cream cheese and avocado. Topped with tuna. I HIGHLYRECOMMEND ORDERING THE CHERRY BLOSSOM ROLL!!! My boyfriend had the Snoopy Roll (priced at $16.00) and it has Spicy white fish,cilantro and avocado. Topped with yellowtail and jalapeno. Pon zu and Siracha drizzle. The whole experience was not good! The food was just okay! The rolls were very dry, as a sushi fan myself, I wasn’t satisfied.... We ordered the Tempura appetizer which wasn’t the taste we expected. California roll, cajun rolls, spicy tuna rolls, all ofthem were very dry. The seafood soup was comparatively good among all the food we ordered The staff were also not so polite, soit ruined all our experience, don’t know if it was because of busy day or anything!!! Stopped by Deep Sushi to take advantage of lunch specials in between appointments in Deep Ellum area. The quality of the food... was great and the portions were fantastic, which isn't always the case at sushi establishments. The restaurant was pretty darkwhen we first walked up but I'm sure it's a suitable atmosphere at night. We sat in the garage area and there was plenty oflight. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch. I can't wait to come back and try the other menu items! Read more
I was excited to try this place because the reviews were so good. I ordered the food via UberEats. The delivery came nicely... packaged and a large portion. I got the incredible roll on a BOGO discount. The food tasted amazing until I started choking onsomething halfway through the first roll. At first I figured it was a shrimp shell that was missed but after coughing it upit’s what looked like a broken piece of a wire scrubber just over an inch long. Im thoroughly grossed out because why wouldthat be in the food and also concerned as I could’ve been injured or also ingested more without knowing. :( Im disappointedbecause I feel like this could’ve been a new favorite sushi place for me but I’d be hesitant to try again.
