First time at Douglas and it was great! Loved the customer service all throughout our time spent there. The food was delicious,... the bun was so good very different than any other place I’ve ever had a sandwich from. The sourdough was SOOO good as well, Icould literally eat it every day!\nThe meats were so juicy and flavorful, oh those French fries were perfect!! The drinks were abit strong but can’t complain, they matched so well with the food! The mac n cheese was too good, I had to order my own bowl!Thank you for everything!! Read more
Neighborhood BBQ spot with a really nice atmosphere and friendly service. The food was good overall, but a little hit or miss... for us. The turkey, pulled pork, cole slaw and mac and cheese were all excellent. As an avid Texas barbecue eater, I’d givethe brisket a 6/10. The slices I got were good on flavor, but drier than I’d like and the bark just wasn’t there. Beanscould use more seasoning and the fries were good, but nothing special. We would probably go back since the place is so nice,but there are better examples of BBQ in Dallas, if you are just going for the food. Read more
1st time. Atmosphere and menu is just right. We had and split the brisket grilled cheese and smoked Turkey club, both on grilled... sourdough. Super tasty!! Mac n cheese and shoe string fries.\nGlanced at dinner menu which looks good too. Highly recommend andwill be going back. Read more
A few weeks before I dined at Douglas I had the opportunity to eat at the # 1 rated BBQ in Texas …. Snow’s in Lexington,... Texas. When I ate at Douglas .. I was hesitant about getting the brisket bc I had just eaten the best.\n\nI have never ever seena brisket grilled cheese. So, I thought …. let’s do it.\n\nIt was awesome. It was our first time dining at Douglas. From beginning to end the experience was wonderful! Customer service was amazing; our... waiter Mason took such good care of us and was always friendly and helpful. The filet and all the sides had the best smokyflavor with such delightful flavors. Our drinks were perfect and the wine selection went great with my steak. For dessert, wehad the peach cobbler with ice cream to close out a delicious culinary experience. Very good smoked brisket and turkey at lunch service. Cooked exactly right so no sauce needed. Burger has a lot going on... condiment-wise, and bun is excessive, but pretty tasty. I\'ve only visited for lunch, but it\'s been quick and good every time. Large portions and great service. I especially like... dishes (or meat plates) with their brisket and sausage. I had the turkey once, and it was a little dry (great flavor though). Read more
