I used to go pretty often. Lately service is rather poor. They lift chairs up at 7pm and stop taking orders at 7:30, though... close time is at 8pm so basically if you get there after 7, they will make feel unwelcome and pretty rush you out. I do notrecommend this place anymore Read more

Having recently been in Mexico City ???????? and tried Tortas there in small ?puestos de tortas? and tortas gigantes, this place... ?El rincón del DF? it?s with no doubt a true Tortas place. From the very beginning, the attentive service and the easy way toorder Tortas to the final delivery of the food to you, it is all a great experience. I ordered the Americana and the Brasileña,both great Tortas, from the bread to the rest of the ingredients this are fine crafted sandwiches. Its a VERY clean place to begin. The food is REALLY GOOD! The portions are very generous. If you like tortas THIS is your spot!... 3 different types of bread and the tortas are HUGE. The lemonade was delicious and my gf got the horchata which was great aswell.. Delicious food and great customer service. If you want more buck for your money this is definitely the place to go to. The... tortas ( Mexican subs) are huge and the Huaraches (a fried tortilla like layer topped w beans, lettuce, tomatoes onions, selected meat and sour cream) are also humongous and cooked to perfection. They are not oily or saturated in fat, they have justthe right mix of ingredients to make you remember the days standing by the puestecito at the mercado eating them while standingup and smelling the city of the angel.
