You’ll be HARD PRESSED to find a better Italian meal and dining experience in DFW than here at Fachini. We came to celebrate... our 5 year wedding anniversary and everything was absolutely perfect. The ambiance was incredibly romantic. The service wereceived from Stephen our server was on point. He had great food and wine recommendations, the manager Christy was very friendlyand they were kind enough to give us a pour of champagne to celebrate. We will most definitely be back! Read more

As expected, the cod I had was great although small. The thousand layer lasagna was good and different from what you would... normally have. For such a fancy restaurant, my glass of water sat empty without being refilled until I had to ask at the end ofmy meal. We most likely will not be coming back as there are better Italian fares. I like to hang out in the Highland Park area and it always comes hit-or-miss when I need to choose a restaurant. We visited for... our dining when they were serving happy hour. It was my first time visiting this place. The happy hour drink was a decentamount. They served free bread and butter pickles etc. We ordered pasta and wagyu steak. The pasta was delicious and it wasnice of them they separated two plates. However the quality of the steak wasn't quite fresh. It tasted like other steaks but wasvery pricy. The server was hit or miss. It wasn't a quite pleasant experience with the server as well. And the menu was just apiece of paper when it comes to fancy dining place. The overall vibe wasn't serious enough and I don't think I would revisitthis place but the next door Italian Restaurant Bistro 31. Read more

Went here for dinner on a whim. The environment looks nice, the music is non-stop oldies music, which is nice, and they had a... nice outdoor balcony area with heat lamps, couches and blankets. The food was decent for the price. I got the meatballs as anappetizer, approx $14 and you get three. They were decently cooked, fairly loose and moist, but flavor and searing wise theywere a bit lacking. The 100 layer lasagna was super interesting, 100 layers of super thin pasta layered with meat andbéchamel, at least in theory. Texture was fun due to all the layers, it was very tender. However, to keep it a manageable size, that means the filling in between in layer is near transparent. The lasagna is served on a bed of sauce, and coated in cheesebefore being baked, but ultimately this was a fairly ok, decent lasagna. It’s fun for the novelty, but not for $40. The plusside is that if you wanted to split this with an app or two and a drink, the portion size would allow it. Finally I got a sliceof carrot cake, and that was the best part of the meal. Nicely spiced, with chunks of apple, and a very tasty cream cheesefrosting. Service was hit or miss. When I first got there at 6PM not every table was full, but over time service became fewerand sparse from the waitstaff, however, there was a separate person that went around making sure waters were always topped off.She was great. Overall this was a decent place, but for meatballs, one of their cheapest reds, 100 layer lasagna and carrotcake it was 91 dollars before tax and tip, a bit high for the flavors involved. Worth going to for a decent Italian dinner ifyou’re around the area, but it’s not something I would go out of my way for. However, the outdoor patio balcony with someapps and wine might be nice in the evening. Read more

Excellent all around. To start I had an old fashioned with bourbon (great bartender) with the calamari and eggplant rollatini.... Both dishes were crispy and cooked to perfection. For the pasta course I had the 100 layer lasagna paired with a Chianti. Thelasagna is a unique offering for Dallas and something I think everyone should try. Sauce was great and the layers were thin so Ifound the portion was perfectly sized. The lasagna was a little cool when served but we had a larger party and the restaurantserved everyone at once. I think it may have been sitting for a few minutes while they finished the other mains. Still excellentand I’ll get it again. Overall was a wonderful evening and the best Italian I’ve had in Dallas. Can’t wait to try thedeserts next time. Read more
