Alex and Sahar the owners of Giovanni and the entire staff working there are the most generous, delightful, and kind hosts! They... took care of us so well throughout the evening, attending to our needs promptly. We had my sister's wedding at this venue andthey went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The appetizer display was top notch and the quality of all foodincluding dinner was excellent! The venue is also decorated so beautifully with lights and lovely decorations and table set upsare very inviting and gorgeous. Thank you for making a memorable night for my sister and everyone attending the event. Thisplace deserves more than 5 stars! I Highly recommend this place to anyone for any events! Read more

Fantastic Persian food. What they can do with eggplant is amazing. Even if you don’t know anything about Persian food just... let the servers help you. If you have not had Persian food previously this is a great introduction to this singular andsophisticated cuisine. I am told there are belly dancers and a DJ later in the evening. We will look forward to this next time. There is a full bar and for the less adventurous there are some wonderful looking Italian dishes. Service was warm as is thePersian tradition. Try the Persian ice cream. A Rose water masterpiece. Read more

Atmosphere is inviting and warm, the food is authentic and tastes delicious, just like your family cooked it. Cannot say enough... about the presentation and portions! We’ve been coming for years and it’s the best! Read more

Loved this place - literally! Food was great for sure but the ambience is a highlight. My server Doniya ensured that she answers... all my questions thoroughly yet with tons of courtesy. I loved the walnut pomegranate chicken (can’t still say the Persianname of it) and chicken kebabs. Chai ( tea) was fabulous. They even had live music and belly dance. Great night out with myfriends. I highly recommend this place. Read more

Tried this place for the 1st time. There was live music and it was really nice! Tried their hummus and pita. Different than... others but in a good way! Very light and subtle taste with roasted pita. In vegetarian their Eggplant Parmesan is REALLY GOODgoes really well with their light weight and crispy garlic bread! In non vegetarian their Pomegranate & Walnut Stew (with tenderchicken pieces and saffron rice) is OUTSTANDING!! Even vegetarians can order that without chicken! Never had anything like thatbefore. Its Persian recipe, totally loved it!! Portion size is decent enough to fill you in and like us you may end up to go theleftover. In Desserts, tried their baklava. Its also good! With that dont miss on their Hot Tea. Its so aromatic, refreshing andone of the BEST tea i have had so far! They have belly dance also on Saturday evenings after live music! A MUST try place! What a delightful dining experience! We visited Dallas in May and happened upon this amazing place while searching for a late... lunch of Italian food. Alex greeted us heartily; he seemed genuinely pleased to have us as his guests. As I said, we wantedItalian food, until Alex shared a bit about his Persian fare, and then we were compelled to change our minds. We started withthe House Specialty Eggplant which was the best I have ever tasted. The hubs ordered the spicy chicken kabob with white saffronbasmati rice, while I chose the shrimp kabob with the house salad. Of course we each sampled what the other ordered andeverything was outstanding. We couldn't get over what a lovely meal we had. Our sweet waitress, whose name escapes me now, wasattentive to our needs before we could ask. Alan, on keyboard, played nonstop and even sang a time or two. I am alreadylooking forward to another trip to Dallas, just so we can visit Giovanni's again. Read more
