Pork belly burnt ends for the win! The brisket was a little bland but I will admit, the sauce made up for it. I can also... appreciate that they toast the bottom bun on the big cat sandwich so it doesn't get all soggy and fall apart, it wasn't asdifficult to eat as it looked. The sides were good but I can't really share anything memorable about them. Read more

I had passed by here countless times and to be honest it did not look appealing. It wasn?t until someone recommended this place... that I decided to try it. This is one of the best BBQ places I?ve ever been to. Lean brisket slices were juicy and delicious.Bacon burnt bits were seasoned and cooked perfectly! Pinto beans might have been the best I?ve had at a BBQ place. Onion ringsare legit!! Good prices considering the food is delicious. Website does not state what time they start to serve lunch menu. Onceinside you find out that they start lunch menu at 11AM Read more

Bought their 1/2 pound of smoked turkey to go with an order of twice baked potato salad. Loved the potatoes. The turkey was very... moist and tender and warmed over well later on. Previously had the corn dog - I wasn't a fan, but I may be picky. Love theatmosphere and that the picnic tables out front are kept clean. Read more

Delicious! I highly recommend this spot! I had the 3 meat plate. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was juicy. The brisket and pulled... pork fell apart and with that sauce! #chef'skiss. The Greens and Mac had the yum factor. The staff are cool and attentive whichis an awesome mix. Thanks! Read more

So far the overall experience is great. As soon as we got out of the car, a worker came up to us and kindly recommended what to... get on the menu - brisket, mac & cheese, bacon burnt ends, and pork ribs (didn't eat at the restaurant, but order as a to goitem). I enjoyed all the items and would go back here again. While it's pretty competitive in terms of the brisket, I thoughthis one was pretty good but nothing mind blowing. Read more

Visited Heim for lunch on the week of their grand reopening in Dallas. In short, the bacon burnt ends are the star of the show.... A very unique menu item that is artery clogging and absolutely delicious. Outside of the burnt ends I was not blow away by therest of my tray, the brisket was good but not spectacular, Mac and cheese tasty but not incredibly creamy, and the beans wereflavorful but more like a soup with how much liquid I got compared to the beans themselves. We?ve given Heim a few tries and while it?s good barbecue, it isn?t anything overwhelmingly special. Their brisket doesn?t have... any unique or flavorful notes that make it unforgettable. Their Green Chile Mac n cheese is my favorite. Another reason Thisplace hasn?t won me over is vaciase they don?t have fried okra on the menu! I?ve always felt like Okra and BBQ are a dynamic duoand it really is hard for me to commit to a barbecue joint that doesn?t offer it. The staff is incredibly friendly and they evengive a neighborhood discount to businesses in the area. Read more

First time trying this place out and damn are they good. By the strength of this first visit do I highly recommend it. The... dining area is very spacious, and the servers were super bubbly and nice. Food wise, everything was very tasty. The green chiliMac and cheese wasn't super impressive but I enjoyed it enough to not count that against the quality of everything else. Thebrisket was flavorful and the fat rendered beautifully. The bacon burnt ends, oi, I could have made myself sick eating justthat. The BBQ sauce had a nice bite to it and the bathrooms are clean with sinks sitting outside the stalls incase you are messyeater. Good place, I would love to return. Read more
