WOW! A very last-minute change in plans found us hosting Thanksgiving Dinner for six. I walked in at 8 am the day before... Thanksgiving and sheepishly asked the owner how much notice they needed. I was hoping maybe to snag a ham, but she just askedwhat I needed. Despite how busy they were I was able to leave 15 minutes later with a ham, deep fried turkey, my choice of sidedishes and pies. The lady that came in behind me told me she had been a customer for 30 years and had followed her to this newlocation. Our guests raved over the complete traditional Thanksgiving dinner; all of it - the delicious, tender turkey, yummyham, sides and a pecan pie to die for. They earned my future business and a great review. It seems they also have a lunchcounter and since they just moved down the street from our office, we\'ll be picking up frequently. I have not yet actually tried the turkey or ham, last year I tried to get one last minute but they were out. I did however get a... pecan pie and scalloped potatoes and they were excellent! Read more
