Mom and I had their giant baked potato. Mine wasn't very soft or as good as I remember. They were surely big, though. I won't... rush back, probably, but will give them another chance. They had a steady crowd which speaks well of the restaurant. Read more

Good but not great. Compare to Subways. The meat on my Steak Poboy was chewy and the associate who brought it to our table... handled it on a way that a big chunk of the chewy meat landed on the table. The soda dispenser is broken. The ice creamdispenser is great. The associates were working around the clock to try to keep the facilites clean, including a massive spillthat a mean customer caused on the ice cream dispenser. The manager should really put attention on fixing the restrooms and thebroken soda dispenser. Update: October 2022. The owner reached out to me, hoping that i visit them again soon, however he didn'taddress any of the issues i described on my review. Is the steak still chewy? Is the soda machine still broken? Disappointed, not because the soda fountain or ice machine is has been broken for months or the white bread on the tuna... sandwiches is hard like it's been out for days. I'm disappointed because you let a true GEM (JAMAL) go. I have watched Jamal doit all short staffed and do it accurately with a good attitude. When I walk into the deli and see Jamal or Tina (you have oneGEM left) I know my order will be right and I will be taken cared of because of their impeccable work ethic and customerservice. You all really let a good one go, you didn't value him or notice all the hard work. You can't train people to care, sowhen you find those employees who do care about customers, you should keep them. Make no mistake, I love Jason Deli, but I recently got one of my favorites, the Ruben. Well, they now offer it in a lighter... version, a marble toast. Well, the original is on rye, & that?s what I thought I was getting, & it?s not. I was disappointed &wish I had been informed about the difference. The original Ruben was the best I ever had. You guys should give your customers aheads up about the change. I would have gotten the beef eater instead. Read more

So glad I got a delicious grilled cheese sandwich with tomatoes and bacon like i ordered and paid extra for! Oh wait, I... didn't. Come on people check your orders before you send them out. Disappointed and it's so dry I can barely choke it down. My5 year old grandson can make a better grilled cheese in the microwave. Also the Reuben my husband ordered is trash and dry.Like half a teaspoon of thousand island. The strawberry shortcake tasted dry as well and oh ... it's expired. Hmmmm. Refundplease. I'd get new staff at this point. Read more

This is what the cashier recommended and I really liked it but a little spicier than I anticipated.

I'm a Jason's Deli fan from way back. How far back, you wonder? Well, I remember the Portobello Mushroom Wrap, a favorite of... mine since 2003. Now for reasons out of my control, I had not darkened the doorway of Jason's Deli in forever until recently. Itwas because of a craving for umami foods that I thought of Jason's, and the aforementioned Portobello Mushroom Wrap. Once insidethe clean, spacious Mockingbird location, I was surprised to see how much Jason's had changed over the years. Gone was the longsalad bar, a causality of Covid-19. But also the general floorplan had been altered to create a more even flow of foot trafficthrough the store. The menu had changed dramatically and I am sad to report I did not get to have my coveted Portobello MushroomWrap but instead opted for a loaded baked potato. This thing is a monster, a giant steak potato stuffed with chicken breastcubes, cheddar and a whole bunch of yummy stuff overflowing with flavor. I ate mine as a stand-alone meal and got full for alittle over $10. Not bad. Of course, another reason I love Jason's Deli is the free soft serve ice cream for dessert. I had thechocolate/vanilla swirl which capped off a good meal nicely. While I didn't get what I came for, I did get a delicious meal fornot a lot of money. Hey Jason's Deli, what do you think about bringing back the Portobello Mushroom Wrap? Pretty please!???? Update: I am going to eat a Spud that is nearly bigger than my head. Somebody stop me!
