I love this healthy and delicious option for lunch or dinner in Oak Cliff. The menu has a variety of salads, sandwiches, sides... and take home Chicken options. Today we tried the pulled chicken sandwich with fries and it is addictive! The pulled chicken, garlic, goat cheese and caramelized onions on fresh bread is all to die for. The fries were hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. We also took a whole chicken home for dinner with a side of roasted potatoes. I love the art throughout that\'s on the wall forpurchase. Overall, a fantastic experience! Read more

Finally made it to La Bodega last night. I\'ve been meaning to go for the longest, so when I needed a protein to go with our... family dinner, I was delighted when I remembered that La Bodega makes in house roasted ORGANIC chicken. We brought home a wholechicken and an order of fries. The chicken was tender with that perfect sticky, crispy skin and it was very well seasoned. Ilove that I was wrapped in butcher paper rather than the usual hot plastic containers that rotisserie chicken usually comepacked in. The fries were delightful with a tasty seasoning and a yummy fresh dill ranch dip on the side. They also had frozenyogurt and lots of tasty looking sandwich selections. This place is an Oak Cliff Mom\'s best friend. Stop in to grab you maindish and fries then just add a salad on the side and dinner is done. Give this place a try, you\'ll be sure to make it one ofyour regular spots. Read more

I chose the small chicken panzanella. Was looking for a smaller portion for dinner, with healthy fresh ingredients. The salad... was more generous than I expected for the price. The balance of the ingredients was perfect. The chicken was flavorful andtender. I was able to get a piece with most bites. All the veggies were really fresh. I?m a big fan of pickled things, so I washappy to find the shallots in the mix. The toasted ciabatta took on a special life after marrying with the dressing. A littlecrunchy, a little soft. The creamy goat cheese was great with the acid in the tomato and the shallot. I really enjoyed thismeal. I really wanted to try the pulled chicken sandwich, but I?ll come back when I have a bigger appetite or a friend to share. You can see the rotisserie in the back and the smells are very inviting. La Bodega is a true neighborhood gem. The small but thoughtfully created menu offers something for everyone. The Pulled Chicken... Sandwich is perfection. The quality of its ingredients and creativity of its construction set it miles above any other chickensandwich I\'ve tried. They didn\'t have to make those fries so delicious, but they did. The seasoning is unreal. I could haveeaten a pound of them. By all means, check this place out. I can\'t wait to get back for more! Read more

The food was amazing. In fact it was so good we ordered two nights in a row to try various items. The fries and the seasoning... are to die for. The salads/sides are exquisite - super fresh ingredients (such as the vegetables) and wonderful flavors. Thechicken was incredibly moist. The sandwich bread was great (and there is a lot of terrible bread in Dallas). I could eat hereevery week - definitely coming back! This is one of the BEST new restaurants in Dallas. Read more
