CELEBRATION SPOT - A 100 year old company famous for their potato chip salt operates this high end steak house. Amongst the... baroque decor signature Prime Rib is wheeled out and cut in front of you. Waiters in bow ties prepare the spinning salad tableside. At $50+ per person this spot is ideal for celebrations. The banana cream cake is so good it will make you clap. For morebest of the best reviews follow The Gold Standard on Google Maps Read more

I had a birthday coming up and decided to try something new. After looking online for a good prime rib place I came across... lawrys, the reviews were a bit mixed about the place but I still decided to try it for myself. *The place is very nice, theladies in the front were very welcoming and sat us immediately. *Service was ok, it wasn’t fine dinning level. We had ourreservation at 5 (opening time) and they didn’t seem ready to open, it took our server about 10 min to greet us, sheapologized and said she she was waiting on bread. The man refilling our water glasses seemed very annoyed, like he hates hisjob. *The food was ok, (not great). I really like how they mix the salad in their spinning bowl and how they carve and serveyour prime table side. *For dessert we had pecan pie which was nothing special. (They do not offer complementary dessert for acelebration). So overall I don’t think it’s worth what you pay, I wouldn’t come back or recommend this place. Read more

I took my wife for our anniversary. We were both disappointed with the whole experience. Dirty dishes, glasses had lipstick on... them, fork had food on it, my knife was so dull it wouldn't cut bread. Service was slow even with restaurant at half capacity. The restaurant was at one time a top notch place to dine but not anymore. We eat at nice restaurants regularly and this was theonly time in several years I actually felt ripped off to be honest. With tip our meal was over $250.00 for two of us and Igenuinely felt like we had received an $80.00 meal with $80.00 service. It wasn't always like this as the place used to be spoton with service and food. At those prices with the level of service we received you have many better restaurants in the area tochoose from. I understand restaurants have had a tough go the last 2 years but the night before our anniversary we had bettersteaks and service for half the price at Haywire, so I know the pandemic isn't the reason for the issues. Maybe we just hadreservations on an off night, at least I hope that was the case. We actually stopped at another restaurant for desert and coffeeon the way home because we didn't want to be at Lawry's anymore. At the second restaurant they inquired about our night and wetold them it was our anniversary. They brought out special deserts on plates hand decorating the plates with sauces spellinghappy anniversary. Lawry's was informed ahead of time it was our anniversary and never even mentioned it while we were there. This may sound trivial, but it makes a huge difference and shows how off they are compared to a restaurant where we only ordereddeserts and coffee. Had a California Cut Prime Rib along with a slice of carrot cake. Delicious as usual, along with attentive service. One thing... about Lawry's is that they're consistent and good. Read more

We enjoyed our Father's Day dinner at Lawry's. The prime rib with delicious along with all the sides. Some of the best crab... cakes I've ever had even though they were on the small side. Unique and delicious deviled eggs they are a must try. Old schoolsteakhouse feel to the ambience. Her waiter Jordan was very attentive I didn't miss a beat on service. Very good wine list. Wewill certainly return for another visit. Read more

Pretty good prime rib. The mashed potatoes with gravy was top notch. The spinning salad was perfect. The dressing is flawless.... Great service along with an expanded menu than what Lawry's offered before. Although i would probably only come here for theprime rib. If you're looking for a good prime rib this is the place.
