I?ve been going to this place since I was in high school. Lunch dates with my mom. Decided to start taking my niece there for an... annual Christmas time lunch date. Just 2 weeks ago I went home with some of the worst food poisoning. Unfortunately this placefrom year to year has fallen short of its former glory. The staff is so kind. So so kind. But I can?t excuse the poor quality. Imean like, stomach hurting, straight water coming out my butt food poisoning. Hopefully it picks back up. But won?t be goingback till next year so they have till then to make sure the kitchen and food are kept up to food inspector standards. Read more
RUDEST SUSHI SPOT IN DFW. Went to the galleria to see the the tree lighting. There was a table open that said it was reserved... for Katana. So I thought ok, I will purchase lunch from them so that my partner and I can sit there. The lady started SCREAMINGat my partner who tried to very calmly explain that I was making a purchase. She pointed to a TINY sign that said to wait to beseated. So I said I?d rather stand up than give them a penny. After that she kept trying to shoo away people who were watchingthe show in areas that were NOT reserved just because she felt like she could. Saw her yell at countless people. The service was just okay, but overall this was a bad dining experience for me. I tipped a decent amount because my friend didnt... like the service so she decided not to tip. When the server came back with our cards she told her that next time she NEEDS totip. The comment was completely not necessary. I would definitely recommend eating somewhere else. Read more
When I walked up to look at menu hostess walked away, when she returned an Caucasian lady had walked up and she greeted her and... gave her a seat. While I stood there when I asked her how come she didn?t seat me and I was there before the lady she said ohwell. I told her never mind I won?t eat here she replied GOOD. This place is right next to Macy?s. You can order and sit on the tables and they bring you the food. The servers are great!... Sushi is super delicious and tastes fresh!!! Definitely recommend it if you?re looking for some good sushi!! Read more
