Lucky?s is an exceptional farm to table breakfast, and arguably the most affordable in Dallas! Their 50s style diner experience... is iconic, and they keep it clean and running fast like a well oiled machine. They are at their best for breakfast and brunch,so swing by and try one of their classic options or venture into something more exciting. Pros: - fresh fruit - locally sourcedingredients - consistent quality - fast and experienced service - attentive and friendly staff - fun and relaxedatmosphere Cons: - a little more expensive because of the local ingredients. - foods are seasoned with salts and driedingredients instead of their fresh counterparts, which is disappointing considering the local options available. I enjoyed mybreakfast and plan to return to try some of their Tex-mex brunch options. I can safely recommend this establishment to anyoneinterested. Read more
Made a point to visit here when we we're planning a weekend trip to Dallas. Had a delicious, down-to-earth breakfast. Everything... was tasty, and our server was very attentive to us. He even offered some to-go coffee when we paid our check which we had torefuse because we were stuffed. If I come back to Dallas, would love to eat here again! Read more
This was my first time where and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. My friends and I came in for a late lunch/ brunch and enjoyed... everything. I ordered the poblano chicken as per my server Kim's recommendation. My fiends ordered the pot stew and chickenfried steak and enjoyed theirs as well. I would definitely come visit them again. The food was so good and very well prepared, we all were completely satisfied. I had the Sleaziest, Cheesiest grilled cheese,... with bacon and tomato and Onion Rings. It was one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I've had in a restaurant, next to makingit yourself, it was very good. The onion rings were well seasoned with a nice crispy crunch. Would definitely order this againand highly recommend if you love a good grilled cheese sandwich. My brother had the The Big Payback chicken fried chickensandwich with Onion Rings and my niece had the Birds Benedict with an egg served on top of a boneless fried chicken breast,covered in hollandaise and green onions, served with breakfast potatoes. It looked great, but not a fan of eggs. The servicewas great. Our server was very attentive, pleasant and friendly. Will definitely go back to Lucky's and explore other options onthe menu. Read more
This place was fabulous! Our waiter was one of the best I?ve ever had. The rest of the staff was friendly as well! The food was... amazing and a bunch of the ingredients are locally sourced. The clientele is diverse and everyone is truly welcomed. A must stopfor sure! And don?t be discouraged by lines?you?ll be seated quickly. Read more
Stopped here for lunch and Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak of course with mash potatoes and gravy ???? My other side of choice... was onion rings. The service was great. Our waiter was a funny guy who seemed happy to be there. Read more
We've been going to Luckys for several years now. A ton of great food options. Including gluten free. Farm to table... choices. We've done breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything has been solid. Great service with no problems ever. Alwayshappy to support local, small businesses. Can be busy during brunch times on the weekends, but that's just a sign of good foodand service. Read more
This food was outstanding. Service was extremely friendly ! Celeste was really great with her smile and good attitude! So happy... she suggested the potato soup because it?s heaven sent, especially today when it?s pouring rain. So glad I came here! All TheStaff seems happy with a smile on their face and staying busy. The vegan and vegetarian options make it so much better alongwith the farm to table food! The meatloaf is delicious, the ONLY thing I would suggest is a bit bigger mashed potatoes portionto compliment the meatloaf portion. This is definitely added to my favorites!! Read more
