We had a great dinner and celebration at Manny?s Uptown Tex-Mex. Their Mexican Shrimp Ceviche is some of the best I?ve eaten... anywhere. They have a wonderful atmosphere and delicious appetizers. Their main courses are large quantities and greatpresentation of the food. In addition to their food they have very well made drinks with a wide selection and strong variety ofdrinks to have with you meals. Our entire time at Manny?s was a wonderful experience and I can say that after eating Tex-Mex atmany different restaurants that I recommend checking them out for a meal and treat yourself and friends with a good meal at areasonable price. ???????????? The chiliqules with green salsa are exquisite. My girlfriend says this place is consistent and great. The lunch special garlic... shrimp tacos are tasty and the avocado salad is refreshing. The salsa isn't too spicy and the chips are warm. Read more

We used to go to Manny's on Lemmon Ave in Dallas. It's now closed, but this Richardson location is also great. The best chicken... mole enchiladas I know of. Asked for a blue margarita and, though not on their regular menu, they made me one and it was great.Simply wonderful Tex-Mex, great service and generally upscale clientele. Read more
Excellent !! I love and cook TexMex and this place was bomb. The Guac is hand mashed and so fresh !! The enchiladas were... awesome. The atmosphere was quiet for mid day but i could see this place being a great place for a night out. Will be headingback to Dallas and stopping by here again, Dont miss out !! Read more
Visited on a Friday for happy hour with a couple coworkers and my sister. We were seated right away away a table and chips and... salsa were brought shortly after to each of us. We placed our drink orders, waters and a beverage, frozen mango margarita forme. As we waited for our last guest we talked over chips, salsa, and drinks. Once the final member came, we ordered the sunsetqueso and tableside gucamole. I've never had spicy queso but that sunset queso was absolutley amazing. I couldn't stop eatingit. The gucamole was ok, needed some seasoning. After munching on chips and dips for about an hour, we finally ordered food,lol. I went with the half veggie quesadillas, my sister went with the veggie fajitas, my coworker ordered the full shrimpquesadillas, and my manager ordered spinach enchiladas, one with sunset queso. We also each ordered another drink. We allenjoyed our meals with the exception of the veggie fajitas lol. They were under seasoned. She asked for some Tajin and said thathelped. My veggie quesadillas could've maybe used a little more seasoning but overall I was happy with my meal. Staff was niceand we had a good time. Just dropped in for apps today. Had the ceviche and chicken nachos before going to a birthday party. The ceviche was fresh and... had a really good mix of seafood. The chicken nachos were tender and delicious chicken medallions each on their own chip. Yummy.Great service. No waiting. I even grabbed a praline on the way out it looked so good. Read more
We had an awful experience at our last visit. We ordered our favorite dish, queso chorizo, and a new waiter didn't prepare it... properly, and he brought this appetizer out after delivering our entrees. He lit it on fire directly in the center of our tablerather than on a tray. It was awkward and hot, so we moved away from our table while he did it. Then he only lit it for a fewseconds without mixing so it was not cooked. The manager on duty did not smile or apologize but seemed irritated and just askedif we wanted a replacement. She sent the same waiter to do it again. There was no time to train him properly of course He lit itlonger the second time, but it was still on our table, and he didn't mix it and made a mess on our table as well. He then arguedthat he was doing it correctly. We decided against the dish altogether and just asked for our ticket. We were still charged forthat dish that we didn't eat. We have been regulars here for 2 years and never had an experience like this. It was verydisturbing that we were treated this way and left unhappy and disappointed in management.
