Loved dining in this Indian Restaurant at Richardson, Dallas. What we ordered: 1. Matar Paneer 2. Chicken 65 3. Butter... Naan Keep in mind, the menu in this restaurant is a little bit more pricy than other restaurants in Dallas. Environment: 1.Big restaurant where the left side has only a buffet arrangement, while the right side has ample seating arrangement to feed aparty 2. Different table sizes from a table of 2 to a group seating arrangement 3. Well-lit and clean interior with nice decor Abig con: 1. Worst smelling toilet I have witnessed at a restaurant. It was horrible. Food: They have different spices levelsfrom none to extra spicy. Do ask them what spice level you prefer before ordering. 1. The Matar Paneer was excellent! The gravywas thick, and a nice aroma of the dish illuminated our taste buds! Simply wonderful. The only drawback is that we wanted itextra spicy but found zero hit of chili. 2. The chicken 65 was bland and did not taste authentic at all! It had a hint of bbqsauce in it and we have tasted better Chicken 65 at other Indian Restaurants. 3. The butter Naan is probably the best Naan Iever had in my life! It had the texture of a paratha with a great taste of Indian herbs and butter. It is a bit moist and notcrispy. I always like when Restaurants provide free water and this was no exception. The staff are nice and courteous but alittle more smile can go a long way! I rate it a 3 star because of their bad smelling toilet which takes the overall expericeinto a downhill but I would still recommend to try out their restaurant for the Matar Paneer. Read more
I've only eaten here for the lunch buffet. They have a great selection of food and their naan bread was fresh and delicious! I... forgot to take a pic of the bread! The only complaint would be that the chicken breast in the dishes were a little dry but thatcan be due to it being a buffet. But overall, not too bad a price at $13.99! Read more
Highly recommend! We’ve tried many Indian buffets in Dallas, and this is our favorite. They have a large selection of dishes... in their buffet. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The food is flavorful and fresh, and the wait staff is attentive. Read more
The food was good. I’ll be back. The only 2 issues I had is the butter chicken I substituted the meat for chicken breast and... my butter chicken wasn’t steaming hot. The chicken breast was kind of dry but it was very nice in there. The food was stillexcellent though. The waiters was nice and they were fast with getting our orders in and out. Okay Indian restaurant. I guess we had higher hopes but it was the usual. The chicken was old and just microwaved so we sent it... back and they removed it from our order. There was no apology or remorse… it was like okay whatever. Everything else didn’treally taste all that but since we were hungry we ate the apps. It’s definitely not worth the price. This was our first time at Mumbai Grill Buffet and it was awesome! The food was absolutely delicious and very tasty. They have... vegetarian and non-vegetarian options as well. There were a lot of dishes including appetizers, curries, biryani’s, anddesserts. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to someone who loves to eat a big lunch for a fraction of the price - itwas very reasonable. Read more
How pleasantly surprised I was at the delicious buffet offerings here! I'm not usually a fan of buffet, price is usually too... high for the amount of food I reasonably eat. This was well priced, and the selection of dishes was fresh, delicious, andauthentic. I am a big fan of Indian food and have not found many great restaurants yet in the Dallas area. Mumbai Grill is nowMY neighborhood Indian food. Spiced perfectly and all the accompaniments to go with. They even had dessert, which I was toofull to eat!
