Testa is one of the best places in Dallas to get pizza. All of the ingredients are sourced from Italy, the dough is formed by... hand, and it's made in the classic Neapolitan style. All of this equals tasty sustenance that won't leave a person feelingheavy after eating an entire pizza (or splitting a pizza with one other person). The vibe is clean, fresh, and fun, thoughthere's a little too much money floating around from time to time. Wine and drink selections are legit, and the servers andtenders have offered me excellent pairing recommendations when I've been. This pizza is also excellent for takeout andleftovers the next day. Let me start by saying the food was delicious and flavorful as always. However, the reason I gave it two stars is simply... because our server; Ryan (from the bar), was absolutely the rudest. He was snappy and "testy"... Although his service wasbeyond horrible, we still tipped at the customary 20% just because it is the right thing to do... he certainly didn't earnit. Pizzeria Testa, we found it by accident as we were driving up and down Greenville during a visit to SMU, we were crazy hungry... and I was ready to order some appetizers to get us through the point where our pizzas were ready and the waiter said the pizzastake less than 2 minutes so we ordered a pizza as our appetizer with a couple glasses of wine. We were hooked after the firstbite and ordered 3 more pizzas to share. We have recommended Pizzeria Testa to friends and family traveling through the Dallasarea. I prefer a thin crust, fresh ingredient pizza and these definitely met that criteria. I like a little more crunch crustwhile my family prefers a little more doughy.. we were all happy with the crust and the ingredients were fresh, the veggies werecrisp and the meats also tasted fresh. I'm a big fan of this pizzeria. So authentic and incredibly beautiful. I only wish it had a bit more buzz. I'd like the... hostess to have given us menus and a little info about the place.
