Brought a group of friends in here from work because of my love for nachos. I believe everyone ended up ordering the nachos and... Rusty Taco did not disappoint! The food was good and $2.22 margaritas on Margarita Day was a great deal. It was a bit crowded because of Margarita Day so some... order got mixed up. Well started with waiting almost 20 min for food because they forgot my order. But they also forgot the two guys in front of me... who were seated and waiting when i arrived so i guess that may be a trend. But to be fair they were dealing with someone on thephone who was arguing about a refund. Do with that info what you will. Food wasn?t worth the wait or the price. I had the friedchicken taco which was wet and bland. Brisket taco which was flavorless and (burnt ends) dry. In Texas that?s good for bbq but ano no in the realm of tacos or brisket sandwiches. And the grilled Baja shrimp taco. Shrimp overcooked. As a foodie i feelobligated to be real and unbiased. I feel the ?All day margaritas? is a good marketing tool to get people in but The quality ofthe food needs to be improved. A simple marinade would help a lot. Sorry for the pic of half eaten food. My service today was great. The cashier greeted me and was even patient with me while I took time to read every description of... the tacos. Ordered 8 tacos, 2 margaritas and chips & queso to go (totaled about $45) and even though they were busy I waitedless than 20 minutes. Drinks have good amount of tequila for $5.50. The fried chicken tacos are HUGE, the spicy was my favoriteof the three. Fast, quick and friendly service, great food, amazing prices. Read more
How is this place so highly rated? We are in town for three days and just wanted some Texas tacos. The place was empty, Only... two other people. We ordered six tacos. It took 10+ mins and they all came out with cold meat. Was this yesterday's meat? Theground beef looked cooked and was cold at the same time, only possible if pulled out of the fridge. The place also smelledstrongly of burnt grease. My youngest son said the floor was sticky like the bathroom at school. ???? Disgusting all the wayaround. The staff was very nice.
