The ambiance, and the staff is very welcoming. They made you feel like family. The staff showed great camaraderie. They are like... family. Chef Abraham Salum went to every table and had a conversation and to make sure we had the best experience. Travis ourserver is very awesome, attentive and personable. We need more like him. Last but certainly not least, the food was exquisite! We had the rack of lamb, mussels, pâté. We’ll definitely be coming back to try other dish. Read more

So disappointed. Waiter seemed so bored with us. Food was not that good. Had the Shrimp Fadeau and it was chewy at best. ... Salad was good, but, how do you mess that up. Just not sure how they got such high ratings???? Best part was the $100 wine. Wehad a party of 5 and they still charged us 20% tip. Will not return. Read more

Tried this place for my birthday. It's one of those places that you would probably never think to go to. It does take a while... for the food to come out, however, it's quality food and worth the wait. Our server was great and the ambiance was very nice. Ihad the beef tenderloin (as is on the menu), the gratin potatoes were EXCELLENT! I asked for the sauce on the side and thank GodI did because I wasn't a fan (I'm picky though). My boyfriend ordered a hamburger and it was GREAT (of course I triedit). Everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy their food as well! I would recommend if you want to try new, reasonablypriced, good food! Read more

I went back to Salum Restaurant in Uptown Dallas for a late lunch with my sister and niece who were in town from New York City... and they absolutely loved it. I had dined at Salum but really wanted to try their lunch since I've heard great things about it.Abraham's cuisine is second to none in North Texas and I believe among the best anywhere. Food is amazing, service is impeccableand the open kitchen to the dining room provides great ambience. We will definitely keep coming back to try new additions to themenu. Totally worth the drive from north Plano! Read more

The food and service cannot be beat. Every bite was delicious and scrumptious. The goat cheese appetizer was amazing. The pate... was perfect. I want to come back and try the fried green tomatoes! I had the lamb and it came on top of a mushroom bread puddingwith a epic gravy. The champagne hit the spot too. For dessert we devoured the apple crisp and Crème brûlée. We can’t waitto return.
