I have dined here a few times before and enjoy the food. I decided to visit today for lunch and bring a friend visiting from out... of town. I will just cut to the chase. I had the worst service from Courtney that I have had from a server in quite some time. Ican count on 2 fingers the amount of times I have left a restaurant without tipping AT ALL and this was one of those two times.She was very cold and non engaging, seemingly in a hurry to get away from us even if we were mid sentence. She didn’t check onus once, just sat at the bar on her phone and then disappeared towards the end of our meal. I had to get up from the table torequest my check. The lady behind the bar happened to be a manager who apologized for Courtney’s lack of attentiveness whichwas enough for me. This food was terrible. Nothing is homemade. I ordered the chicken piccata and my wife ordered chicken Alfredo. Simple dishes.... We ordered and our food came out 10 mins later. The sauce was artificial and the chicken was dry. And don’t get me started onthe house salads that were included. It was old iceberg lettuce going brown. The best thing about the food is the noodles. Great small place, the food was good, and the environment was nice and quiet, wish they had a better beer selection. The wine... selection was ok. The pizza was good so was the fried mozzarella! Everyone was friendly. Read more
Very nice, and cozy place. Great pizza and great pasta. Nice ambiance as well to hang out with a group of friends or... family. Every order includes a delicious little salad while you wait for your food and when your food arrives they give you somereally tasty garlic bread to accompany your food. Read more
Friday night at Scalini's ...our favorite place let us down...normally a 5 star experience went south when our food took a very... long time to arrive at our table...the waitress said the kitchen was backed up...our order was 2 plates of pasta and 2 sides ofpasta for my boys...when the food finally arrived only 2 plates were served and then the other 2 dishes came at least 10 minuteslater...once we were able to eat together...we finished eating and I got up to ask for a sack for our to-go packages...I noticedour waitress was on her cell phone...perhaps the reason our food took so long!!! I then put the Styrofoam containers in thepaper sack. The containers did not fit in the sack at all...Note: Whoever is in charge of the to go packaging needs to rethinkthis process... Love the atmosphere and how friendly the staff are. I felt like part of the family. The chicken picata was rich and delicious... with angel hair pasta and fresh mushrooms. The pasta with vegetables was terrific. The pasta was freshly made. Really enjoyedthe pizza, served on a big square, plastic tray. Great sauce, glad I asked for a heavy helping. The inside is a but tight, but the food was very good. I will be going back. There small pizzas come on a plastic tray and are... definitely big enough for two. Consider their lunch size pizza if you are not sharing! Read more
Local dive with indoor seating in a shopping center. The staff was very friendly, 70s classic rock & Motown on the radio. We... ordered 2 different kinds of pizza and both were great. My son ordered the spicy chicken scalloppine which was also delicious.We are here on vacation so won’t be back but definitely recommend. Read more
