Wonderful experience. Brisket and ribs were on point. Great portions for the price and the sides were amazing. My favorite was... the Brussel Flower Au Gratin. Not pictured was smoked turkey we got and it was juicy and flavorful. Read more

The Slow Bone crew was very helpful and kind. The brisket was tender, Mac n cheese was interesting, and I loved the honey... cornbread. One con: All sides aren?t created equal so I wish they weren?t all $4 each ?? Read more

We stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of a Sales Rep of mine. From the looks of the parking lot this place had to be... pretty good. We met another couple who were coming for the 1st time as they were referred there as well. They staff wereextremely helpful and kind. I got a Chopped Beef Sandwich, Greens, Brisket beans, and the Sweet Potato Pralines. My boyfriendgot the Ribs and French Fries. We both had the Sweet Tea that was far from sweet unfortunately. The Brisket and Ribs was veryTender. The fries were piping hot and delicious! My Greens were pretty good, but the beans could have been a bit better. TheSweet Potato Pralines was pretty tasty... They are $$, but I wasn't to surprised. Read more

Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ Restaurant 2021. Good but not great. The meats were universally extremely tender, generally seasoned... simply with salt, pepper and smoke. The ribs and sausage stood out. Ribs had much more prominent smoke than did the brisket, which IMO was lacking in that criteria. Fried sides (okra, tater tots) were both made to order and particularly tasty. Portionswere enough for two on these. The disappointment was the fried chicken. Texas Monthly described it as the best in town but Ibeg to differ. The fried chicken was precooked and simply warmed in hot oil for service. This saves time but provides a subparproduct. I can only imagine Texas Monthly was served fried chicken made to order. We ordered almost 2.5 lbs of meat and sides for a party of two and ended up having leftovers because we couldn't stop ourselves... from over ordering because everything looked and smelled amazing. When you enter the restaurant, you go through a line where youorder and pay for your food before you sit down. The servers were all very friendly and happy to answer any questions and offersuggestions to guests. The rest of the restaurant is pretty much self serve besides some bussers to clean up the tables. We gotsausages, the pork rib, beef brisket, and a large beef rib. All the meat was absolutely scrumptious and we ate until we werealmost bursting because everything was so good! The beef rib was massive and juicy, we would highly recommend getting it. Itwas, by far, the highlight of our meal and we went through it quickly. The meat falls off the bone and the meat is so tender itwill melt in your mouth. We got Mac and cheese, coleslaw, collard greens, and cornbread as sides. They were all decent but weespecially enjoyed the corn bread. Their cornbread is covered in honey and we found that the extra sweetness really brought outthe flavor of the cornbread. Read more
