I should have check the dates. Bought some meals on 8/14 thinking it was fresh but when I went to warm the meal up Wednesday, I... saw the expiration date showed the date that I purchased it. Love this place. I?ve been coming here for over a year now and I really enjoy it. I work long hours and very rarely have time to... cook. Trying to eat healthy can be such a challenge when most of this country lives on fast food! Snap Kitchen has a goodselection of meals although sometimes they can run low on stock. Luckily they are on my route to work so if there is a meal Iwant that they don?t have one day, it?s easy for me to swing back by a day or two later. I have a very sensitive gut with several food allergies. I?m a cross between keto and paleo life style. Had chicken dinner from... here which was palatable. A few moments after eating I felt inflated and overly bloated. Carried on through the night and feltextremely nauseous by morning. Ingredients are listed and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Just a little concerned about ahealthy meal, packed in plastic, then radiated in the microwave. Convenience packaging defeats the purpose of thisestablishment. Read more
They used to have no vegan options but now they do have this small 4.1 oz salad without protein for $1.99 as a snack option... because you?d need to buy like maybe four of these to get full since it?s just cucumbers, carrots, greens and tomatoes in asmall container. It says in the window: Your one stop - healthy meal shop. Sadly that is not truly the case since they havesome drinks and things but no actual vegan meals beyond this. Wish they?d offer more sustainable options!
