Hands down the best experience me and my wife had at a restaurant. There were beautiful views and the staff were very helpful... and catering to our needs. Beautiful establishment with an amazing view of downtown Dallas! Our server was amazing (unfortunately I forgot her name) but... she was down to earth and fun to talk to as she walked through the menu with us. We ordered the 38oz tomahawk steak with grilledoctopus as a starter. Along with Mac & cheese and brussel sprouts as our sides. For the octopus we expected a little more meatfrom it but it was really great. The tomahawk was cooked perfectly and as one of the chefs cut right in front of us. I treated my hubby here for his birthday and everything about this restaurant is breathtaking. If you are looking for luxury,... upscale and mouth watering food this is the place and the city of Dallas skyline was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely begoing back. Read more
For our 19 year wedding anniversary, we chose S?R Steak + Spirits for our "experience". We chose S?R for a variety of reasons,... after a 2 week review of the top restaurants in DFW. Price was not a factor. We consider ourselves foodies who will eat at anyhole in the wall or top restaurant and only judge by the general atmosphere and food. The top factors in choosing S?R were: 1.Elk (I grew up eating elk) 2. Truffle Risotto 3. The atmosphere and views 4. The executive chef. (Thanks Chef Hoffman!) Thatnight we enjoyed a wonderful bottle of red wine with octopus tentacles, a handmade Caesar salad, black truffle, risotto, andelk; That was so good that even my wife, who does not typically enjoy red meat, took a bite of...and rolled her eyes back inexquisite pleasure. The dessert was a chocolate cigar and a cream resembling a whiskey with Jello ice. The food caused both ofus to have such a large dopamine rush that both of our heads were spinning while looking at the views. I was treated to this lovely restaurant and shared an incredibly tasty meal with Beautiful, Wonderful, Amazing and Dear Friend... of Mine. Great food!; Great wine!; Great Live! Attended the opening night of the 22 relaunch. I wish I had taken more photos of the food as it was absolutely incredible. The... new menu and chef have taken it from a fine cuisine to top tier and worth every penny. The staff was attentive and activelyaware of our table. Spoke with the manager and his desire for genuine feedback was refreshing. They have a solid staff and havetaken the existing environment and made it a warm and pleasant atmosphere with the finest of dining delicacies. Sadly, I doattempt to take more photos of my meal, but to be frank, the food was so delicious I didn't remember I wanted to until we hadcleaned the tomahawk steak bone. I have wanted to go to this restaurant for a while now. I read some of the 1 star reviews just to see what they said and they... are really old so they shouldn’t count. Let’s start fresh. I loved the view, it was amazing to see all of downtown Dallas.Just like the view the food is amazing! The desert was my favorite and they place a happy anniversary in a small chocolate bar.It is so worth it. Read more
