This place is strictly ok. Yes the food is good but not superb. Same with the service - it’s fine. I ordered the crab shots,... pistachio salad and cherry blossom roll (this could likely feed 2 people comfortably). The rice of the sushi was a bit mushy.The steak on the salad was yum but the leaves seemed a bit wilted. Lastly, the crabs shots were solid - my favorite of thethree. This sushi wasn't anything special. I got the firecracker, summer roll, and hand pressed rolls. Salmon sashimi was the best... thing we got - very fresh and delicate. Pretty expensive. We also got the wagyu hot rock (not worth 25$) and chicken fried rice(basically flavorless). If you do get the hot rock then I suggest not using the salt seasoning. Way too salty and can't tasteany of the flavor of the sauce. There wasn't any dish that I felt was extremely special. Favorite rolls was probably thefirecracker and the hand pressed sushi. We got the lollipop lamb which was well flavored but it was kind of tough rather thantender. Not much meat on the bones either. Nice interior and service was good. This entire meal was just okay. Everything seemed great at first! But for the most part nothing really came out that great. Some... of the sushi was very questionable in taste and a few pieces were down right inedible. Also I do not understand why they wouldcharge $30 for fried rice. None of the prices justified this place whatsoever. I think if I go back I’ll just stick to sharedhot entrees and starters. Read more

You owe it to yourself to not miss true artistry and deliciousness. A hidden gem in the heart of oaklawn! As you descend from... the sidewalk off of welborn st you are transported to a feast for the modern eye. You are greeted by the friendliest host thatwisks you off to your comfy chic booth. That's where the adventure begins. Be daring and order something different...you won'tbe disappointed. Everything is a work of art AND actually is beyond delicious. This place was amazing! They were helpful in guiding me to the entrance since it’s blocked off a bit due to the construction.... They have a variety of options on sushi’s that are filling and delicious! My waitress, Annabel, was absolutely amazing andvery helpful. It is a hidden joint but I will definitely be back! Y’all should definitely give it a try if you want some goodsushi and a good atmosphere. Read more
While walking I found this sushi spot and thought I would give it a go. So glad I did. Quiet around 8pmish. Waiter and host... were very personable and very polite. Ordered the Sake Flight and my friend order the tuna tower or something like that fromsushi menu. She mentioned it was really good. I went to get a little tipsy. People around us was having a great time and thoseat the bar was on chill mode. Not certain where you would park though, but would ask in case they validate any garagesnearby. I like the swag of this place. You need to duck off for a bit? For certain, stop in for a little minute and relax. Winespecials are legit. Read more
On 10/04, I had a reservation at 7PM — from the moment I walked in, they were all so attentive & welcoming. My sister & I... enjoyed every meal, & it came out very prompt. Their drinks are great as well, especially their lychee martini (& I’ve had alot of different lychee martinis from other establishments). The food, staff, & ambiance = 10/10. Read more
