The lobby bar was nice. Great margarita! I'm sure it's not the fault of the studio movie grill, but we were hoping for a quieter... experience for the Black panther 2 movie premiere. We had trouble with a few food orders in our group and the weight staffdidn't seem to be conscious of the space they took up as a delivered. The food. Slightly annoying. Pros: - as a movie theater, this place rocks. Cons: - as a restaurant, this deserves one star. There are a few things you have... to expect with an experience like studio movie grill. I see lots of reviews saying that the servers interrupted the movie forthem… All I have to say to that is, of course they did, you ordered food. So if that’s your gripe, I recommend an adjustmentof your expectations. The true problem lies in how terrible the food is. Overpriced, room temperature, under portioned, anddistasteful flavor. I wish they would just cater food in at this point. Or at least distinguish their quality from thestereotypical movie theater experience. Alas, they don’t. New seats are great, shame the service is trash. Nachos came out cold. Popcorn was cold. Soda was flat. Drinks were weak Pizza... was indistinguishable from little Caesar's, just smaller. Missing items and no recourse. Cupholders were absolutely disgusting.Bathrooms out of soap and not well cleaned .They only let us begin seating about 5 minutes before showtime so the first 30minutes of the movie were disrupted by people loudly ordering and being served food, and bright white screens the servers wereusing. The infrastructure of the operation is great. Comfy seats, nice bathroom, not imax screens but good enough. The pricesare also fairly reasonable compared to other movie chains. Unfortunately the service really soured what could have been a reallypleasant evening. And that service is awarded an automatic 18% gratuity which I realize now is the only way they'd get it. Horrible customer service. We asked for an extra bowl with the original server, and never got one. We asked another person when... they brought our food and we didn't get it afterwards. Not sure if it's the servers first day but we kept on getting randompeoples food. Read more
For the past three to four months I've adopted movie-going as a hobby of sorts. It's always one movie a month and I do my very... best to make sure to not look into how good or bad a film is. Although my recent visit wasn't anything like that - I enjoyed allmy visits to this particular movie theater. This review will be more into the technical and technological aspects of thetheaters I went into during the visits than the movies or the service since I have enjoyed those two aspects the best as I canfor a light moviegoer can go. This Studio Movie Grill has a few issues which I will list and they're namely personal gripes andit's completely understandable from the perspective of Studio Movie Grill. The first is how some of the chairs I picked forthese visits are either hard-locked on their recliner functions or completely different in set-up and such which are related tosaid functions. There are some spacing issues but when you're sitting by yourself in the back, it's okay. There's also notenough space to eat the food you ordered - although I suspect that you're not meant to have too much food on your tiny table tobegin with. I can understand that Studio Movie Grill has far too many visitors to the point that doing regular maintenance ishard to keep up with - no one can get mad with that. Everything else is perfectly fine inside the theaters outside of that. Thefood on the other hand, my words on it will be subjective because I only order two of the same things every visit. The food isgood and provides a decent amount of protein if you're the type of person who works out or burns a lot of calories The servicemay be slightly delayed but it's understandable because the staff they have could provide so much for so many people, so giventhem some forgiveness on that. It’s been a while since I’ve been back to the theater for a movie . Watched Top Gun 2 and it was only like 9 people in there... for a late show . Services was great , drinks and food are decent enough . It’s not bad here except that you have to becareful not leaving anything valuable in your cars . I seen a few shattered glasses in the parking lot so I don’t think it’sa suggested area for a movie and to take family here . Unless they hire security driving around the lot. Read more
I was invited for the First time to this Studio Movie Grill and it was Awesome! I will not go anywhere else, simply because... their movie seats reclined and I watched my movie in Comfort. Our attendants were nice and attentive. Theater was nice andclean. Also their movies are up to date. I will go back. I Highly recommend you try this Theater. Read more
The service here is mediocre. Went on a Monday to watch Black panther. They charge you for the food + tip BEFORE your food comes... out. My friend paid cash and brought her the incorrect receipt and amount of change back. She never got her lemonade she orderedafter telling TWO employees she never got it. My wings were room temperature. The mozzarella sticks cheese was solid and notmelted. I would NOT go back to this movie theater. Only good thing is the seats are comfortable and recline. That’s it.Luckily she did get a refund for the lemonade she never got. Read more
