Great food. Fair prices. Music was good with blended genres. Service was a bit slow & orders confused. I will visit again.
When we first arrived nobody had said "Btw our card machine is down" We got sat down and ate. "The food was good but the service... not so much" After we ate our waitress said they only accept cashapp or zelle which was weird because how do we know if themoney is getting send to the store and not that person that's asking to send it to cashapp. Anyways we told her we can run tothe ATM and she said well either I need one of y'all to stay or I need a id rudely. Like first off you were suppose to tell usbefore we ordered. It's very inconvenient for us to download a app and pay. Servers were rude but the A- is that the food isgood. Ordered Fish, shrimp, and fries. While I was waited I decided to order a Mango Margarita for only $3. A kind gentlemen paid for... my drink ? lol So yeah, you can dine in and this place has a good chill vibe to it. Even though I ordered take out I kinda justwant to chill there and eat. Overall great place the shrimp was FLAVORFUL, great portion size, and super fresh. The only thingI wish was the fish had the same seasoning like the shrimp. Other than that still 5???? Let me start off by saying this was my 1st time here. I came in and placed a order to go. Drove 23 mins only to get home and my... order was wrong. I ordered a crab boil and 1/2 pound of shrimp. They gave me all shrimp! When I called in they told me I neededto come back to the restaurant because the cook said he put crab in the bag. Clearly he didn?t because I had 2 different flavorsand the crab boil don?t come with shrimp. I drove back to the restaurant where I met the youngest nonchalant manager by the nameof Cynthia. She could care less that I worked all day and ordered takeout cause I was too tired to cook only to have my orderwrong. They didn?t offer me anything for my inconvenience. Then gone point to a sign talking about we ask that you check ordersbefore you leave. First off this was my first time here and who reads all the signs when you tired and hungry. And why should Ihave to check behind employees at a restaurant? That sounds like her job to me! I came in and clearly spoke my order to thewaitress my job was done. But now I see why cause it?s young staffed. I left Sunset Crab worse off than I came and with less gasin my car from having to drive back. O one more thing I had my food in a bowl they dumped my food out and gave me my bowl back.I guess that?s what happens when a company let 22 year olds be managers. Sunset crab in this location could be upgraded. The staff is great, they are young they are very nice but they are not that... well-trained. I had to ask twice for a refill of water, the young hostess told me I could sit anywhere and she was the one whoprovided me my refills of water while cleaning. The food as you can see, I had blackened salmon asparagus and white rice. Theydid not have any dirty rice, the steamed rice was sticky as can be, overcooked and under seasoned as well as the salmon whichwas not blackened. I had to add my own black pepper and salt to it for flavor. The asparagus was not seasoned either and it toowas overcooked. The staff was nice, just not trained well in customer service and I believe the same for the cook who would popin and out of the kitchen with a straw in his mouth stand at the bar. I also moved to the bar from the table because I wanted towatch the games, but a Hispanic mother and daughter were served before me, their orders were taken before mine, after arriving 7to 10 minutes and after me. 3 stars for Sunset Crab because of my beautiful and sweet young hostess and my Lovely server whotook my order AND, who recognized I had not been helped AT ALL... Beautifully Decorated! Very Nice Ambiance I had the Red Snapper! OMG! It was so Absolutely Delicious! The asparagus big and... was super tender! The Dirty Rice was seasoned and cooked to perfection! All That and Reasonably Priced!! I Highly Recommend!! I will be back! ?? Read more
The food had a lot of flavor but was not over powering. The service was excellent as the server was friendly and conversational... without being intrusive. The sweet tea was a pleasant surprise but if sweet is not your thing then I wouldn't recommend it.Welcomed accessories with any seafood place are the scissors, bib, and gloves. The restaurant was clean, orderly, and was wellkept by the staff. I highly recommend this wonderful gem. Read more
