I have always loved sweet green- I often used to get it in NYC where I lived through 2019. Was very excited when the store open... in Lakewood a few months ago but harvest bowl just doesn?t taste as good any more. Not sure if the quality went downhill duringthe pandemic or if it?s this location, it?s not as good as it used to be. The chicken is always dry or chewy. I attempted to order online at the Gaston location, but there was a fee for all the apps excluding the website. I tried ordering... on the website, but it made me create an account just to order, which I did but was unable to login due to an error message whenI tried the verification code. The website then wouldn?t let me order and told me to contact customer service. I then try tocall the phone number and call my but it is a long recorded message, and by the time you get to the option to place an order, ittells you to go online. don?t waste your time Read more
Sweetgreen did an amazing job with this location. The service is great, so they must have emphasized pre-opening training more... than at the West Village location. The atmosphere is top notch. And, of course, the food is delicious and healthy. Read more
The food was pretty good but the bread they offered my wife and I had visible mold on it. When we both, separately, alerted the... servers, there was no sense of urgency in checking/removing the rest of the moldy bread. My server actually asked of I wantedanother slice- which I assume would have been grabbed from the original supply behind the glass display. I did not go back inlater to check if they ever disposed of it, or continued offering the moldy bread to customers. We do not plan on returning. Read more
It was our first time coming, not really sure of what to expect. I just got a build your own and he got the Harvest Bowl.... Everything is very flavorful! Jose was helping us and was overall very kind. TyTy was helping the customer after us but wasstill talking to us and hoping we?d enjoy our meal. Both of them were very genuine.
