I really try to support BOB, which is why we chose this spot for Sunday brunch.\n\nLet?s start with what worked for us:\n\n-Our... server, Maddy was amazing. She was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu.\n\n-We made reservations about two days inadvance and once we arrived, we were seated almost immediately.\n\n-The food, what we did have, was hot and tasty.\n\n-Themusic was being streamed was a good mix and it was at a good volume that allowed us to still be able to have conversationwithout yelling at each other.\n\nNow let?s speak on what did not work for us:\n\n-The portion was child sized, but the bill wasadult sized. My husband ordered shrimp and grits and he literally had about 3/4 cup of grits and 4 medium sized (at best)shrimp. The chicken and waffles were two ?smallish? sized waffles and a small chicken breast. Our bill was $90.\n\n-The spaceis small, which wouldn?t have been a problem except they allowed people who were waiting to be seated to congregate and loiterinside. We were seated next to the stage and there were people sitting on the edge of the stage and at least twice, they bumpedinto our table. ????????\n\n-There were only two servers. I understand that everyone is short staffed, but two servers forSunday brunch.\n\n-Our reservation was at 12:30, and we were informed halfway through our meal that there is live entertainmentthat should begin at 1pm. Our server went on to inform us that if we were there when the live entertainment started, there wouldbe a $10/per person charge added to our bill.\n\n-We had to ask for utensils\n\n-There were no table side condiments. We weregiven small to-go cup or syrup\n\n-Our drinks were served in thin, flimsy, cheap plastic cups. If you squeezed the cup tootight, the drink spilled.\n\nOverall, it was an okay experience. If given the opportunity to go back, I?d probably pass. Butwith some tweaks, this place could be amazing. Read more
The ladies in our family meet up for brunch about once a month & we chose this restaurant. Our waiter was Marvin, and he was... OUTSTANDING!! He was funny, personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and very attentive!! He is a GEM!! We truly enjoyed theexperience and the food was great! The drinks were even better!! Sye was my server and he was great!!! Food was great, drinks flowing, great vibe and music. Came for brunch but I will have to... come back again for dinner/happy hour. Took my family here when my sister from DC came down to visit. We ordered the entire menu (chicken and waffles, shrimp and... grits, the southern catch, etc) and EVERYTHING was delicious! Marvin was an amazingly attentive and kind server. He definitelymade it a great experience. We?ll be back. Read more
Please consider revising your primary entrance. The entrance near the parking lot at the back of the building was locked. The... patio entrance was blocked off with a sign. Customers are forced to walk on a street onto oncoming traffic to access thesidewalk to get to the front of the building. The food was mediocre at best and took forever to come out. I was surprised mygreens were ice cold. Lol. Other members of my party were disappointed and sent their food back so I decided to keep mine andtake it home. The greens were better once warmed up. I love the atmosphere and am hopeful management will take therecommendations in this review and others to improve their customer?s overall experience. The food was EXCELLENT!! Pretty good customer service. I got a vibe that they have some loose ends that have to be addressed. I... also think it was EXPENSIVE. I was thankful it was good but it was still not fairly priced in my opinion. I would like to add Ibuilt my own dish because I am a simple girl when it comes to my food. Even though I cut out most of the meal they still chargedme the same which is common. I\'ll be back after 2 next time because I was told it\'s live music then. Read more
My friends and I were out for a bachelorette party weekend, stayed at a nearby hotel and meandered around the area to find... lunch.\n\nWe smelled delicious smells, beautiful music and wandered into the restaurant.\n\nThe atmosphere is extremely familialand warm.\n\nEye V Lynx sang her heart out and treated each guest as though they stepped into her home, engaging with theaudience, made sure everyone felt welcome, had a song they could sing to. While she had a break to rest her voice, she walkedaround to each table, making sure everyone was having a good time.\n\nThe DJ splayed great music during the break for theband.\n\nThe staff was welcoming, helpful, kind.\n\nThe food was immaculate. Great food, great atmosphere. Sunday has live music and a nice brunch selection. Would love to be able to seat larger parties,... but the patio area was nice and the staff accommodated our needs. Read more
