I enjoyed my visit at the Island Spot! The server was hospitable and fast! She had our food out quickly and ensured our cups... stayed full. Though we sat outside she still was attentive and the drinks were great! The food was amazing but a little cool.Overall, great music, great environment, great food and great service. I’d recommend! The food was surprisingly amazing (they... give out great portions), the drinks were good and I highly recommend this location. Again, if you’re not patient or in aquestionable mood….go somewhere else! This place is a whole vibe and either your apart of the vibe or you’re not. Yum! Mama Joyce Chicken, trust me.. try the spinach. We originally ordered Togo but the dining room is so inviting and bright... we decided to dine in. Perfect waitstaff, so helpful. Will definitely be back often! Read more
Great Jamaican food, excellent service and the music was a whole vibe! I ordered the Ox Tails and was not disappointed. The... portion was not as big as that other place over on MLK but they were tender and fell off the bone. I'll be back to try thierjerk and curry to get the full experience. Read more

I love the atmosphere and vibe here, very friendly and clean. The servers are quick and kind especially JJ, she’s a keeper. My... coworker enjoyed the Jerk Chicken Nachos and I loved the Jerk Chicken Sandwich with Fries Lunch. The chicken was flavorful andjuicy, plus the bread was savory.
